im going to play unlimited at my cousins house with his little friend so i came up with this.
pokemon:15 4 clefairy(EX) 3 clefable(jungle) 3 magmar(fossil) 2 cleffa 2 tyrogue 1 elekid
trainers:31 4 elm(i wont waste a good hand) 4 trader 3 copycat 3 gust of wind 3 switch 3 focus band 3 gold berry 2 ecogym 2 cpu search 2 fan club 1 town volunteers
energy: 14 10 fire 4 recycle
STRATEGY: to beat down with a fable and use magmar for both defense and offense.
the deck was originally slowking but it was too slow and choppy.please get to fixin it folks...thanx

IMO, you have too many trainers and not enough energy. Remember that the energy removal deck is a favorite in unlimited-- with only 14 energy, you could end up with a severe energy problem-- in general, I recommend about 18-25 energy in any deck. I would also try to add a few more Pokemon--15 is on the low side.

I do want to completely change your deck but I won't.
IN UNLIMITED are you prepared to challenge Sneasal? Chansey?? Slowking??
You need some pokes resistant to Fighting and Magmar USED to be good but there are TOO MANY Free retreaters in Unlimited.
(15) 3 clefairy(EX) 1 Base Set *it suprises Rocket Zapdos/Sneasal users when you METROnome* 3 clefable(jungle) 3 magmar(fossil) 3 cleffa 1 tyrogue 1 Scyther
trainers:32 *massive Drawing power* 4 CPU 4 Item Finders 2 Oak's Research *why elm? trainer use RULES un Unlimited* 2 Oak 3 LASS *disruption* 2 gust of wind 2 Double Gust 3 focus band 3 Rocket's Training Method / Broken Ground Gym 3 SER 3 ER 1 town volunteers
energy: 13 10 Fire 3 recycle
NOW there is some SERIOUS disruption (lasd, SER, ER), IF sneasal is very popular in your area gold berries are no good but really it is your choice.
BUT You could consider Pichu, Magby, Iggly depending on your metagame and if you see Slowking decks.
30 or so trainers is about average in Unlimited AND I would only recommend 16 energy at most. Except in certain decks *I use very little energy myself* [ March 24, 2003, 10:02 PM: Message edited by: IPGeek21 ]

Listen to Geek, Slowking, and Sneasle can be hard to beat. I even play sneasle, and a lot of opponets have a hard time with my deck. I suggest taking out the ecogyms and playing SER's. Also you should think about playing magby or iggly. My final suggestion is to play R.Zapdos or Buzz instead of magmar. I hope these suggestions help you, it's your choice if you want to use them or not. I'm only trying to help. Good luck with your deck. See Ya!

Grimer, how many times do I have to tell you mud pies don't actually have mud in them, so they're not going to help you evolve into Muk!
