Pokemon-16 Electrode(Base)-4 Voltorb(R)-4 Ho-oh(Rare)-4 Electabuzz-2 Cleffa-1 Pichu-1
Energy-16 Lighting-14 Double Colorless Energy-2
Trainers-28 Oak-3 Elm-3 Bill-3 Computer Search-3 Time Capsule-2 No Removal Gym-2 Gust of Wind-3 Swicth-2 Gold Berry-4 Focus Band-3
Idea to Deck
Start with Voltorb and Ho-oh on the bench
Turn one:Energy under Ho-oh
Turn two:Energy under Ho-oh, Evolve Voltorb to Electrode, Use Buzzap, Attach Electrode to Ho-oh, Send out Ho-oh for a full 70 Damage turn two.
So what do you think any ideas to make it better are welcomed. And this deck is standard!
For Those who dont know what the text to Buzzap is
"At any time during your turn(before your attack), you may knock out electrode and attach it to 1 of your other pokemon. If you do, choose a type of Energy. Electrode is now an energy card (instead of a Pokemon) that provides 2 energy of that type. this power can't be used if Electrode is asleep, confused, or paralyzed."

From the compendium:
quote: Q. Is a Buzzap'd Electrode considered a Special Energy Card, especially for purposes of Smoochum's Psykiss (remove special energy card)? A. Yes, it is considered a non-basic energy. So you could remove it w/ Smoochum. (Oct 18, 2001 WotC Chat, Q14 & Q57)
Read Rainbow Burn. Only basic energy cards add damage, so you would do 50, not 70. [ May 25, 2002, 11:08 AM: Message edited by: yoshi1001 ]

actually, he'd be doing only 40 damage. Rainbow Burn does 10 more damage for each TYPE of Basic Energy card attached to Ho-oh.
since only Lightning is attached to Ho-oh, it only adds 10 damage, regardless of how many Lightning Energies are attached to it.
-------------------- that was my 2 cents. don't steal it or anything, it's just 2 cents, nothing more...
