i think it could work if u have enough draw power (which u do). looks good too. but replace time capsule with Nightly Garbage Run (better IMO)

that was my 2 cents. don't steal it or anything, it's just 2 cents, nothing more...

The 2 lines will work especially if you try
2 promo Eveees. In MMF with so many evos Eveees
power will help get your Evos without really
worrying as much about draw power.
Here's one I have done real well with though
it is much different from yours. If played wisely
you can protect your different evos weaknesses,
though Psychic is the only one you really need to
watch for!

2 ND Eveee
2 promo Eveee
2 Holo Umbreon Dis.
2 Holo Espeon Dis.
4 Grimer (R)
4 D.Muk
1 Cleffa
1 Murkrow

3 R.Hideout
4 Erika
3 Imposter Oaks Revenge
4 Elm
3 Doudle Gust
4 Gold Berries(w/Hideouts I like them instead
the bands)

2 Recycle nrg(works well with Umbreon if you
get gusted or need to retreat from poison etc.)
4 Dark nrg
6 Psychic nrg
9 Grass nrg

It works for me!Try it sometime if you have
some time. [Smile]

Ok, seriously now, how could I NOT reply to this. [Big Grin] I will re-cap what my testing has proven to me about Espeon, here's the pros and cons from Espeon.

Hmm...with testing coming along with both Espeon and Dark Muk, I can say that this deck could work. Espeon is well, like MY Pokemon; I've spent countless hours trying to get him to work in decks, does he? Eh, not really, he just doesn't hit the level of power that Gatr, Crobat, and other broken cards are at. Now, Espeon is cool, just not to the level of winning consecutive big-time tourneys like Gatr does. Although I have to give MAD props to DrZapper (Nice job man) for doing as well as he did at the ESC with his Espy variant. The deck works in theory.

However, lemme just say that Movie Mewtwo is just as, if not as impressive as Espeon. Promo Eevee (the only Eevee I'd use with any Eeveelution) grabs Espeon really fast, especially if you play a duel evo deck (like you are). However, once you have Espeon, you have to power up Espeon. Sure Psychic, is super nice. I mean it averages 40-50 damage for PPC. However, it takes 3 turns to power it up. Compare that to Movie Mewtwo. Turn two 40. Compare that to Espeon's THIRD turn 30+, that turn comes into play. I just would rather use Mewtwo over Espeon. Because if you Wrath first turn, you can just leave energy in there to Absorb. Anyways, enough of my babbling, it could go on for days and days... [Wink] You have a deck, that I can look at...

Pokemon 15
4 Grimer (Rocket)
4 Dark Muk
3 Mewtwo (Movie Promo)
2 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
2 Pichu

Trainers 28
4 Professor Elm
4 Misty's Wrath
4 Focus Band
4 Double Gust
4 Rocket's Sneak Attack
3 Nightly Garbage Run
3 Rocket's Hideout
2 Resistance Gym

Energy 17
10 Grass
7 Psychic

There you go...Enjoy!

Hey Gymbo,

Yes I have seen your decks posted w/Espeons.
They have been some nice decks and I could
tell you tried hard to find the right spot for
those Espy's.
I'm assuming your comments were directed at
Dark Zapdos version as this was his thread.
I do agree that promo Mewtwo w/M Wrath can
pretty consistently give you that 2nd turn Psyburn
Two reasons I said some of what I did.
I really like the promoEveee/Espeon combo as
in MF/MMF they both are a big help for me against
Double Gusts.Promo Mewtwo CAN retreat and absorb
them back but it is a little bit slow.
As far as my version I put up I also agree
that the promo Eveee's ARE the ones to use.I think
I got a bit gunshy after my son played this deck
in a season ending single elim.DCI tourney.
His opponent went 1st and all Chris(my son)
could get for basics was 1 Promo Eveee. He got
locked onto by a metal magnamite.Even after his
1st draw was an Erika he drew a Dark nrg,IOR,and
grass nrg.No basics. He even had his Umby in his
hand plus another Dark nrg waiting for that turn
that never came.Chris is #1 DCI ranked in Pa.and
the player that took the game with the 2nd turn 50
is about 300 DCI points below him!!!
I guess about 50 times or so we have wondered
what MIGHT have happened if he had the Neo Eveee.
He at least could have used that Eveee's Poke
Power for a POSSIBLE heads, letting him evolve to
the Espeon in the deck, since the nrg on the promo
Eveee he played was a Psychic, and the second time
he attacked with bite(Eveee's and Espy's)would
have KOed magnamite resulting in a reversal of the
outcome.
Boy you can tell how much time I spend using
my brain to think about real life, huh? So many ifs!
But who knows I'll probably go back to the 4
promos!
