Ok, here is a deck I made after looking back at the card lists for the old jungle/fossil/base precon decks, and I thought why not make a new version based on what I saw.. so here is my new water blast deck.

Pokemon:20 Tyrogue
3 Magmar (fossil)
4 Poliwag(base)
4 Squirtle (2base,1rocket,1Exp:headbutt/bubblebeam)
3 dark Wartortle (TR)
2 Dark Blastoise (TR)
Trainers:22
2 bill
2 gust of wind
2 switch
2 potion
2 energy search
2 pluspower
3 professor Oak
2 sprout tower
2 rockets hideout
3 energy retrieval

Energy: 18
7 fire
11 water

Ok, strategy is that Dark 'toise is the main hitter, with Poliwag for backup. Tyrogue and Magmar cover weakness. Energy search means I won't be stuck with only water energy and a magmar (nightmare situation) and I should have enough stadium cards to be fairly safe against chaos. Any help will be much appreciated.

Make all four Squirtle the 50HP Expedition one.
That's four Tyrogue, if this adds up to 20.

-2 Tyrogue, if you need to get Tyrogue out 2 should be enough or else you may not have the correct mix of Trainers.
+2 Pichu to take advantage of having no Pokémon Powers.

If you really wish to keep a Magmars in,
-3 Magmar (Fossil)
+1 Magmar (Neo Genesis)
to benefit from colourless attacks. Personally I'd consider dropping the Magmar, it doesn't suit the theme of this deck - you wish to power up the Dark Blastoise each turn, and don't want to have Fire energy or Pokémon in the way. But, I'll go with what you've got here... then...
+2 Suicune (Non-holo, Neo Revelation)
to abuse at will with Double Gust later on (combine Double Gust with Suicune for a Gust of Wind)

Poliwag as back-up? [Dubious] Try Neo Destiny Mantine if you wish to beat Fire decks with a stick. Better still though, work against your weakness by slotting in Woopers instead. Then add two more Cleffa to gain much needed draw.
-4 Poliwag
+2 Wooper (Neo Genesis)
+2 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)

Too many Stadiums...
- 2 Sprout Tower
+2 The Bosses' Way

3 energy retrie-val

-3 Energy Retrie-val
+2 The Bosses' Way
+1 Super Energy Retrie-val (Neo Genesis)

-4 Fire
+1 Water Energy
+3 Metal Energy (absorb the recoil of Rocket Tackle)

This is a very strange deck. But. It works better.

And oh look. It's modified too.
A Modified deck working better than an Unlimited deck? Well well well...

Hey guys..
Interesting fix Freddy. Let's see what I have/haven't got...

Pokemon
Suirtle, well, I've only got 1 Expedition squirtle ful-stop.. nowhere in my area(Blackpool) has any expedition in stock any more...
Mantine: Sadly, I never bothered getting any Neo:Destiny boosters or precons.. well, never got around to it, anyway.. maybe when I am employed again in March... *shrug* I do have a glut of the Genesis one though.. so I could try that?

Pichu: umm... only have 1 of it.. which sux, same with the Cleffa.
I also have no Suicune at all.. oh well..

I have to admit that it is a strange deck.. having been meant to make the most of the water-gun type attacks of the Dark 'toise and poliwag.. which is why I chose them for the backup.. a bad choice, I know..

Onto the trainers, your suggestions are very interesting.. I had been seriously thinking about putting in some bosses way, to help get the 'toise out, but I wasn't sure what to leave out. I do, to tell the truth, happen to like having 2 gust and 2 switch over double gust, all my opponent has to do is choose something with no energy out for my pokemon, and I am in trouble. Oops, I just saw the reason behind one of the cards I don't actually have.. oh well. I'll stick with the gust until I get some.. which may take some time since my local shops are out of Revelations as well as Expedition. Do you think maybe Elekid would work well in the deck? or Magby? In place of the Magmars, of course. hmm, better go now..I'll remake the deck, and post the new version on monday when I can get into the library again.
Bai!

Ok, here's the version I am currently running. help would be appreciated still. [Smile]

Pokemon
4 Squirtle (TR)
3 Dark Wartortle (TR)
2 Dark Blastoise (TR)
4 Wooper (Neo1)
4 Gligar (Neo1)
4 Tyrogue (Neo2)

Trainers
2 The Boss's Way
2 Energy Retrieval
3 Rocket's Hideout
3 Professor Oak
2 Pluspower
2 Energy Search
2 Potion
2 Switch
2 Gust
2 Bill

Energy
5 Fighting
12 Water

Ok, it is a dark 'toise deck, but I rely more on the Hydrocannon attack than Rocket Tackle. Rocket's hideout helps keep my 'toise in the game, as does potion.
Gligar, Wooper and Tyrogue are backup, the fighting energy is for Gligar's poison sting.
