Author Topic: Dragon-Maker BANGINBOX Member # 68427 posted December 16, 2002 02:02 PM             here we go. pokemon 3 electabuzz 3 mantine 2 hitmonlee (kills rouge on bench) 2 tyrouge 2 cleffa 3 dratini 1 dragonair 2 dragonite E-card 18 pokemon 4 elm 4 copycat 3 trader 2 scoopup 3 focus band 3 double gust 2 switch 2 energy stadium 2 breeder 25 trainers 6 water 6 eletric 5 fighting 17 energy the thought behind this deck is speed. drawing, attacking and RETREATING. this seems to have great synergy. please help expose some weaknesses so that i can tweek. there are not many places that i can test these decks out. so, bash, trash, slash, then help put it back together again. jimmy -------------------- I am forever cursed to flip tails! I never thought of this deck and it blew me away. Space is really tight in here, so I'll try to fix as much as I can. I'd say to cut the Breeders for 2 more Dragonair, because Dragonair can be Tradered for. You don't really need a Turn 2 Dragonite, do you? If you do, keep it like it is. Well, here's the fix all together: -2 Breeder -1 Electric (Buzz only needs one) +2 Dragonair +1 Dratini/Dragonite (depends) That's... it. Good job, I love this deck. I really think the Dragonair are more dependable than the Breeders, though. Whether you add the Dratini or the Dragonite is up to you, but I always feel comfortable playing with a 4-3-3 line, or in your case, 3-3-3. Again, great deck and congrats for taking T4 with it. From: THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON | Registered: Mar 2002  |  IP: Logged BANGINBOX Member # 68427 posted January 11, 2003 12:56 PM             Thanx for the replies. this is how the deck stands today. pokemon 3 dratini E-card 1 dragonair e-card 2 dragonite e-card 3 electabuzz 3 mantine (giant wave) 2 hitmonlee e-card (got me lots of prizes!) 2 cleffa 1 tyrouge 1 mew promo 18 pokemon trainers 4 elm 3 copycat 2 professor oaks research (anti- copycat ) 2 trader 3 scoop-up 4 double gust 2 strength charm 2 breeder 2 focus band 1 super energy ret-r-i-e-v-a-l (<---this word is what causes the HTML error) 1 energy stadium 1 pokemon tower 27 trainers energy 5 electric 5 water 5 fighting 15 energy this deck was fun. most importantly it was fast! no-one seemed to know how to counter it. i would lay a buzz down, then here comes my opponents tyrouges. after they laid their babies i would scoop the buzz and start picking those pain-in-the-arse babies off their bench. it also worked well agianst kingdra variants. not so well against straight kindra though. just ask jason! lol. try it for yourself and see.
