Heres a deck I recently came up with, but it is new and has yet to be playtested:

4 Dratini (neo4)
4 Light Dragonair
3 Light Dragonite
4 Slowpoke
4 Slowking
3 Cleffa
2 lilypad Mew

4 Elm
4 Trader
4 Bill
3 Double Gust
3 Balloon Berry
3 Gold Berry
2 EcoGym (default gym)

4 Potion Energy
4 FHE
5 Psychic Energy

Strengths:
With Dragonite's Pokepower this deck completely shuts down Steelix along with any dark pokemon and can hurt Kingdra's recycle energy effects too. Having no weakness is also a great plus.

Weaknesses: Light Golduck could REALLY destroy this deck, but luckily no one seems to play him. Lilypad mew could also pose a threat, but it does that to really any deck anyway. (thats why hes in my deck too) [Cool]
Any deck help, comments, flames, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated.

Interesting deck! I can only see one problem with it and that is the fact you have no real strong hitter! And the other thing is that Pichu could go so crazy over hitting all of these powers that it may start zapping itself over all the confusion [Confused] . If you run into a deck with something with no special energies you could have some problems. So now what could we use! Something that can hit fast and decently good until they send up something with special energies, and at that point bring in dragonite kill that (2 or 3 turns) and send up the fast hitter. The only question is what would be a good choice. Now gather your thought. DON"T FORGET TO ANSWER IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION! You have 30 seconds starting now! (Jepardy music plays)
.....................(Jepardy music ends) What is Tyrogue? or maybe What is Elekid? or how about What is anything that is a solid good basic that uses Psychic or colorless energies in modified? [Confused] Okay, Okay! I know that third one at least is a little of a stretch! If someone slaps down an Unown N or Sprout Tower (who plays those? I have no idea) or plays a pokemon with Psychic Resistance you could be in for some trouble. So definitely Tyrogue and Elekid (hey just double gust a squirtle and then flip for playful punch! Would you like your squirtle's original recipe or extra crispy? [Angel] ) Ahh, torchering squirtles before they become Dark Blastoise is so much fun! Well, hope I helped! See ya!

The Evolution of Steelix:
My many Steelix deck versions:
Electro-Crush (Rockets Zapdos)
Steel-Slash (Rocket's Scyther)
Steelix's Memory (Neo 3 Aerodactyl)
Whirpool Crush (Umbreon, Dark Vaporeon)
Crush Down (Arcanine)
Kabulix (Kabutops)
Steeleon (Espeon, holo Discovery)

And maybe more to come!

New Project: Swap n' Memory Raging (Aerodactyl [Revelation], Alakazam [Base/LC])

Espeon is 1!

Try Rocket's Mewtwo...that could shake things up. You'd need to put in another energy or two though

Odd no one thought about using Miracle energy & poke Breeder. You can power up a light dragonite on turn 2. Also, With a light dragonite active, you don't have to discard the Miracle energy at the end of your turn.

For sure on the miracle energy. You may want to try 1 healing fields/1 eco gym. I would play more psy energy. That way you can fight with king against muk/crobat decks. You can also confuse murkrow if you get locked.

But doesn't light dragonite turn of all special energies' effects? So if you have light dragonite active and attach a potion energy to your benched damaged lily pad mew, can you remove one damage counter?

Ummm, doesn't recycle energy work when Dragonite is in play? If it does, put some in, you would need it for well retreating, and because you have a fairly low energy count.
