I've got a Fighting deck of Pokémon that are very defensive but offensive at the same time.
Pokémon:
3 Machop (L20)
2 Light Machoke
1 Light Machamp

3 Geodude (L14)
2 Graveler (L32)
2 Golem (L36)

3 Swinub (L10)
2 Piloswine (L41)

3 Brock's Onix (L41)

Trainers:
3 Bill
1 Prof. Oak
3 Gust of Wind
3 Plus Power
2 Magnifier
2 Potion
2 Defender
3 Switch

Energy:
18 Fighting
2 Double Colorless

Strategies:
Machop line: This is the backbone of the deck. Machop goes on the offensive immediately doing 20 damage each turn. It also has 50 HP, good for an evolving Basic. Light Machoke is a variation of Erika's Jigglypuff with Gentle Kick, and I don't use Return Home very often, unless I've got a badly-damaged Pokémon on the bench. The Machamp is a pure brute! Beatdown will beat up (pun intended) any Sneasel or Murkrow that challenge it, provided I keep it energized!

Geodude line: This is just for big damage. Geodude is like Machop, but it has 10 less HP. I really like Graveler's Rock Tumble attack for ignoring Resistance, but sometimes, I'm forced to use Earthquake. Golem has an efficient Avalanche attack, and will Self-Destruct to go with a bang!

Swinub line: Swinub is simply there to evolve. It can't do much in the way of good, and even though Piloswine can't do damage without FFCC, it can heal with CC. Healing 30 damage with no drawback other than ending the turn is a very good thing! Unfortunately, sometimes after a High-Speed Charge attack, the opponent may be able to KO Piloswine before I can heal or do anything. Fortunately, it has 90 HP. Plus, it resists Rocket's Zapdos.

Brock's Onix: This is one of my favorite early-game cards. With 100 HP and a Paralyzing attack, it will most often be able to stall for a while as I power up my Pokémon. Even though Bellow does no damage, it's a big annoyance anyway!

Trainer Strategy:
Bill & Oak: These are cards that are just necessary for most decks.
Gust of Wind: Most of my cards are able to KO a weakened or helpless Pokémon.
PlusPower: 10 extra damage often makes the difference!
Magnifier: I need this card in case of Fighting-Resistant Pokémon. It's a big help, especially when the attack wouldn't KO the Pokémon due to Resistance but would otherwise.
Potion: Healing damage is a good thing! 20 damage can sometimes make a big difference.
Defender: Used primarily with Piloswine since it damages itself. However, I will use it in other cases, too.
Switch: All of my Pokémon except for the Basics have at least 2 Retreat Cost! I don't want to waste Energy if I have to make a substitution!
