I'm thinking about going with Light Dragonite for the next tourney near me. Here is why:
-Good HP
-Great power(stops krow,steelix, etc.)
-Awesome attack(gives immunity to poison and sleep, and I'll be seeing a lot of that)
-No weakness
-easy to charge

So here is my deck

Pokemon-17
4xDratini(destiny)
3xLight Dragonair
3xLight Dragonite
3xR.Zapdos
3xCleffa
1xTyrogue
Energy-14
14xElectric
Trainers-29
4xElm
4xSecret mission
3xErika
3xIOR
3xRSA
3xBreeder fields
2xBallon berry
3xDouble Gust
3xGym(undecided)
1xTime Capsule(decking out)

Basic Strategy-
Start off attack with Zapdos, then let out charged dragonite as soon as possible. Dragonite isn't exactly a really heavy damage dealer, so I might have to bring in Zapdos to clean.

I still need tech. I need something to slow down Gatr and big fire. I think I'll do fine against most other archetypes.

Please fix Thanks

remove 1 Secret Mission and 1 Time Capsule for 2 NGR. i don't think you need to deck the opponent for this kind of strategy, so take the Erikas out for Sab's Gaze, or Metal Energy. the stadium could be anything. try Lucky Stadium or Rocket's Training Gym. or Radio Tower even. and i agree with you. Gatr and Big Fire will be the only problems of Light Dragonite decks, coz most others use special energy. anyway, u have lock cards (IOR, RSA). that should hold those decks for a little while. if not, try changing R. Zapdos for a BB grass or water pokemon, depending on what you (fear) more. play to weaknesses.

that was my 2 cents. don't steal it or anything, it's just 2 cents, nothing more...

Proud Anti-Archetype...
Originality rulz!!!

Misty: Aw, how cute!
Dexter: "Vulpix, a fox pokemon. (blah blah blah)...very strong flame attack."
Vulpix: *uses flamethrower*
Misty: Yes it does... *faints*
