Here is the format I play in: we dont alow engery removal, super engery removal, the typical haymaker deck (electrabuz, hitmonchan, syther) raindance decks, or the down pour fralagator, but other then that its open format: with that in mind this is the deck I'm working on:

22 pokemon:

4 Charmander
1 Charmelion
2 Charzard (base set)

4 Bulbasar (e)
1 Ivysar (e)
2 Venusar (e)

3 Cleffa
2 Igglybuff (gaze tech agenst arodactal)
3 chancey (120 hp stall)

22 Trainers:

4 Erica
3 Mary's Inpulse
4 Pro Elm
3 Pro Elm's breading methead
2 Pokemon Breader
2 Computer Search
2 Focus Band

16 Engery

4 Recycle Engery
4 Double Colorless
4 Fire Engery
4 Grass Engery

the engery count is very low.. any ideas
thanks

Erica total 24, thats right, 24.
Dunsprace total 41.
I've gotten 98 on that Machoke at work game. I beat Driving Corasola.
I almost beat the record in Hold Down hip hop. I got 2000 or so in Kinglers day. I got 7 in Rapadash's dash. Butterfree's Flower Power 4700. 123 In Jumping Dodoro. My all foil deck is finished.

the idea of makin a deck with venesaur or Zard is just not practical! Most tournaments have a format and those cards u wont be able to use. And charizard and venesaur r really bad. If i were u i would make a modified deck around a good archetype

First off...he outlined the rules they play by and 'zard and 'saur are well within them.

Second, I think it's disgusting that you think everyone should play archtypes...a lack of creativity breeds lack of fun.

Now, to the deck.

Replace E 'saur with Base Venusair and get rid of all Fire energies.

- 4 Erika
+ 4 Bill

Using Archtypes in Pokemon would be like the Iron Chefs making a pepperoni pizza.

Creativity sets the elite from the amateur.

well, with a sightly difernt version of this deck I won undefeated. E-Venusar makes this deck work- attaching two recycle to Charzard... 100 dammage once it gets going every turn. And yes, even a few baby Pokemon took that dammage.
