Here's a deck that just got me top 4 last Sat at York with 26 players. Lost to Dolezal's Kingdra/Steelix but owned nearly everything else. The Aqua Jumpluff is a wonderful tool for ticking off your opponent, and perhaps good enough at stopping most OHKO's to eliminate the need for weakness countering water. On to the decklist:
Jumping Jumpluffs (MF Swarmage)
4 Hoppip (50 HP doesn't matter)
2 Skiploom (with no flip poison)
3 Aqua Jumpluff (jeeez...if this thing had higher HP it would be broken as heck. It's attack does 30 for heads with 2X flips for 1G. Fire weak, water resistant)
2 Cleffa
2 Promo Mantine
13 Pokemon

3 CopyCat
3 Elm
3 Trader
2 Fan Club
3 Forest Guardian (don't knock this card till you try it baby!)
3 Gold Berry
3 Focus Band
4 Double Gust
2 Warp Point (for the Mantine)
2 Breeder
2 Grass Cube (killed me two Steelix with this card..asleep and poisoned for 1 G)
2 Pokemon Nurse
1 Volunteer
1 Energy Stadium
1 Lucky Stadium (love the overkill on drawing)
34 Trainers

4 Rainbow Energy
2 Water
7 Grass
13 Energy

Strat is simple: Get multiple Pluffs out ASAP (Fan Club DOES work Gymbo!...as does Hopip's 1st attack)
Attach a Focus on a Pluff and pray for good attack flips. Jumpluff's PPower Fluff works this way: If Jumpluff is already damaged when the opponent's Pokemon does an attack that damages Jumpluff, flip a coin. If heads, Fluff prevents ALL damage AND effects of the attack such as energy discard, position switching, etc. It's power is incredible, allowing them to survive any attack 75% of the time with a band. Against the almighty Gen. Steelix it sucks though, and the Grass Cube is all I have to counter that beast. Pluff's water resistance and Power beats down on Kingdra. I know there's a lot of room for improvement, so let fly with ideas. I'd play this next Sat. at Delaware Ohio's SBZ, but I have been asked to Judge.

I found that MAgby is also a hinderence to your Jumpluff line. Otherwise I also like the Forest Guardian and your deck. Nice deck and good luck at SBZ.

Still being terrified of fire, I added Kingdra to this mix...

Great deck, with the pluff daddy!

Dunno about the fear of Pichu or even fire for that matter. Fluff has the same odds of protecting Pluff from both completely as it does from ANY decent stage 2 from ANY of the types. they all have Pokes that can ordinarily take out a 70HP whacko, weakness or no....the 40 for 2 water from the Mantine seems strong enough for my fire protection. Gymbo made some good point on PoJo about having too many Supporters and perhaps running a Paint Smeargle for Steelix, but like I said, it went real well Sat.. (even with a TON of terrible terrible flips for me...HEADs on baby rule...TAILS-TAILS...ArrrrghhhhhhHH!!!)

Naut,
I have 2 other 1 stage lines that I may try with pluff.
1st is rapidash. 2 solid zero retreat 1st stages (e 40 for 3!& lc-agility on lc is annoying like pluff), burn with the e basic, or 30 for 2 on the lc basic. Exellent against fire weak grass & steel.
2nd is the aquapolis espeon. Use his power to remove rainbow, nurse, and play the rainbow again to activate pluffs power. Plus espeon owns muk!

Twut...what, you don't know about Promo Mantine? 40 damage for 1W and if you flip heads it does 10 damage to each of your opponents benched Pokemon....Like the new EX TTar, it has 2 weaknesses to compensate and has 4C retreat cost, hence the warp points in the decklist.
(Doh!...yes...Destiny Mantine lol.. [ROFL] )
