Question 1: If I Energy Burn a Recycle Energy does it keep it's Special Power of going back to my hand once it is discarded from play?
Question 2: If I Energy Burn a Darkness Energy would it read like so:
If Darkness Energy is attached to a Pokemon that damages the Defending Pokemon (affter applying Wekaness and Resistance), that attack does 10 more damage to that Pokemon. At the end of every turn, put one damage counter on the Pokemon Darkness Energy is attached to, unless it's (R) or has Dark in it's name.
Darkness Energy provides (R) Energy. (Doesn't count as a Basic Energy Card.)
Or would it read as it normaly does?
Question 3: If I Energy Burn a Double Colorless Energy, does it count as one or two Fire Energy?

main prob: there is no DCE in LC. bye-bye DCE...
aside from that, the deck could be pretty good, but Charizard will always be a bit slow, how bout some holo Entei? if u do, add more Recycle Energy.

Q2: i think it provides R energy but still does 10 damage unless attached to a D pokemon or a pokemon with Dark in its name

I'm assuming all these questions are for Basic edition Charizard. If so...
1)Yes, Recycle Energy would still bounce back into your hand as it would normally.
2)Yes, Dark Energy still does what it normaly does.
And 3)No. Charizard makes you discard two energy CARDS for his attack. Although his power alllows you to make any ENERGY attached to him fire energy untill end of turn. So if you discarded Double Colerless Energy you'd still have to discard another card. This has confused many players for many years. So I'll try to put it in a simple term...Charizard's power allows him to treat any energy AS THOUGH they were fire energy. That does not make them fire energy. So Dark Energy still does as it normaly does, so does Steel, and Double Colerless Energy does not fill in two card slots onley two energy slots. Charizard with Recycle energy can be a powerful force to reckon with. Too bad he's a second stage evolution. Ofcourse..I dont think the card game would be study enough to handle a first stage evolution! ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

I already knew that Koga. I know you have to discard 2 different Energy cards to use Charizards attack. What I was asking was if I Energy Burn a Double Colorless Energy would it then be like a Double Fire Energy providing 2 Fire Energy even though it is just one card?

well then, now that u know about Recycle Energy and Charizard, may i propose this adjustment:
-4 DCE
+4 Recycle Energy
there, ready for MMF. i was also thinking of:
-1 Electabuzz
+1 Cleffa
Electabuzz is only for tech against water but usually Charizard can kill most water Pokes (if not hit by them first) except Gatr, but expect that to start going down soon. ![[Bounce]](graemlins/jump.gif)

Am I missing something? I can't have 8 Recycle Energy in a deck, can I? I don't think I can sense Recycle Energy is a Special Energy Card and your only allowed 4 of that specific card in a Deck, unless the rules changed while I had my back turned.

But there soon will be once the Season Promo is released. I am pretty sure it will be released because Double Colorless has been out of Tournament play for a year now.

Yeah...DCE isnt legal yet...I also feel it will be the season 8 promo but who knows. Change them until than though. Try FHE. Zard aint too good if he cant change his energy ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I'm not sure I like the idea of using NG Electabuzz. Takes too long to power up. Maybe Elekid would work, if you add some big-HP basic. Maybe add one to attack while Big Brother powers up. Just seems better than a dead turn.
