Well, I wanted to try a haymaker in new modified, the one I built for old modified was actually goot, but so many good cards were gotton rid of, including most of the Pokemon I used. I dont think an actuall Hay maker will work without Muk now. Muk can devistate so many decks!!! No pokemon powers is just evil..... so here ya go

2 2 Grimer (fossil, 10 and Para for a colorless is sweet)
4 2 Muk (fossil)
6 2 Hitmonhan (base, forget promo -10 HP, blah)
8 2 Electabuzz (again base)
11 3 Tyrouges (2 Neo, 1 AQ
13 2 Cleffa
14 1 Aipom (need to get cards back, pilfer rocks)

17 3 Double Gust (How could it hurt, everyone buy Muk attacks for 1)
20 3 Elm
23 3 Copycat/Oak (I hate using more than 3 of both)
26 3 Scoop Up
27 1 Town Volunteer
29 2 Pokefan
31 2 Switch (Mostly for Muk)
33 2 ER 2
36 3 SER 2
40 3 Strengh Charm (10 more damage always comes in handy)
42 2 Traders (get what I need now)
43 1 Energy Retreival (need an energy now)
44 1 Radio Tower (good anti gym, maybe Sprout or Poke Tower promo though)

48 4 Fighting
51 3 Electric
55 4 Grass (Minimize or Muk 30 and Poison)
57 2 Warp
60 3 Crystal

I know the new energy removal cards are flippy, but energy removal is and has always been such a vital part in hays, plus SER2 is just evil with 2 flips. Bands might be nice, and as always, dont touch Aipom!!!! thanx.

I like it but what about - the 2/2 Muk Line and + a 2/2 Furret Line. Just athought...otherwise leave it the way it is...

Well- minus the 3 SER2 for my own personal benefit [ROFL] ...you know why

Why would he want to play Furret? First theres like barely any Special Energy worth getting and another Muk turns off Furrets pp =\ So not a good idea. Furret doesn't go in many decks btw

Furret is the new "hot" pokemon (as DMTM mentioned him in his fix)

Usable in some decks, not many though. I still prefer fossil gastly and energy charge/power charge if I need my special energies back.

Colin - I will be starting tourneys again soon. This last month has been well, 80 hour work weeks =/.

What I had suggested was Dropping the Muk line and adding a Furret Line to help get the specific Energy requirment needed for attacks.
Of course you wouldnt do both....and though he is the "Hot" Pokemon right now, I think in a multi color Deck, he would be ideal...not just for Special energy...just a thought...jeez guys and gals

Hey, I'll admit I was a lemming and tried this guy out in several types of decks. At the end, it was decided, Furret - NO.

If you want basic energy back, energy retrieval, energy restore, or other tricks.

Special Energy requires Power Charge, Energy Charge or Fossil Gastly.

Use the 2-2 line for something useful, maybe, MUK. All the big MF decks right now run powers, and this would be a great way to slow them down.

Lord knows I see a muk, and run for an igglybuff, wait, that's a power, that won't work, OK, maybe a Magby, but that is about useless, OK, mean look the muk???

Keep the Muk, Green/purple and oooze. Maybe even move to a 3-3 line with muk and add in 1 AQ muk...oooh,,,,NASTY!

See you on the boards!

Or at one of my tourneys!

If I was gonna drop the muck, with lack of Special energy, I would go for Clefairy from EX. 1 for 1 for a basic would be more helpful.

Ok suggestion... deck needs to be faster... I like Strength Charm, early on espicially. (Chan vs Baby, flip tails it stays, heads Ko and discard, same with Rouge vs 40HP basic) but maybe dropping them for some Bills? which would be better?

Actual deck mods now are
-1 Poke Fan Club (didnt have 2)
+1 Glygar (Genisis)
-1 Radio Tower (only 2 I have in Unlimites Hay)
+1 Poke Tower
-1 E Retrieval
=1 E Restorer (no trade, chance for 3, giving it a shot)
