Ermm...Forrtoise..Blastress...names on a postcard to me [Smile]

4 x Squirtle (Exp)
2 x Dark Wartortle (Legendary)
3 x Dark Blastoise (Legendary)

2 x Pineco (Discovery)
2 x Forretress (Discovery)

3 x Cleffa (Genesis)
2 x Igglybuff (Discovery)
-------------

18 Pokemon

4 x Professor Elm
2 x Copycat
3 x The Boss's Way
3 x Double Gust
3 x Pokemon Trader
3 x Pokemon Breeder
2 x Rocket's Hideout
2 x Energy Charge
2 x Focus Band
2 x Gold Berry
2 x Time Capsule
--------
28 Trainers

9 x Water Energy
3 x Metal Energy
2 x Darkness Energy
--------
14 Energy

60 Cards

Ok, any constructive advice welcome [Smile] . The Forretress line is for use against water resistance meganium/venusaur decks, with the rest being a dark blastoise beatdown with metal to prevent self damage from Rocket's Tackle, and Darkness Energy to increase damage if necessary.(same old, same old) My main concerns are Espeon decks (blasty needs much energy) and water resistance, so fixes to help with either would be appreciated!

NB: I didn't mix this deck with Steelix instead of Forretress as at the moment I have none! So try to avoid fixes containing it! Thanks!

This deck could be a little better:

Pokémon (18)
4 Squirtle (Expedition, with Wave Splash)
3 Wartortle (Expedition)
2 Blastoise (Expedition, with Jet Stream)
3 Pineco (Neo Destiny)
2 Forretress (Neo Discovery)
4 Smoochum (Neo Revelations)

Trainers (16)
4 Copycat (Expedition)
4 Energy Stadium (Neo Destiny)
4 Energy Charge (Neo Genesis)
4 Moo-Moo Milk (Neo Genesis)

Energy (26)
18 Water Energy
4 Metal Energy (Neo Genesis)
4 Rainbow Energy (Team Rocket)

Using the Discovery Pineco was too risky. The Destiny Pineco doesn't do as much damage, but at least it's guaranteed. I went with a non-Dark line and took out the Dark enhancement cards. This deck will also help you get rid of your opponent's Special Energy via Smoochum.

I wish that there would be a Pokémon game show.

Anyone up for making a TV edition of the Pokémon TCG?

Don't pester me "Add Neo Cleffa"--my area won't allow it!

Please study the deck before commenting [Smile]

There's no grass energy for a reason..I don't attack with the Pineco! The Forretress line is teCH in a way really.. Arguably if I wanted to attack with it I'd use the other one. And dude, where did the essential cleffa/elm/trader go? Jet Stream Blasty is cool though. Cheers anyways!

I am just wondering why MrPokemonChallenge, why every deck suggestion you have offered that I have read has been nearly the same as far as using 4 Smoochum (!?!?!?!) and the same weak trainer mix...please tell me you're not serious. I am not usually one to criticize, but I am starting to wonder. Do you really think that 4 Copycat is enough drawing? Really? and you seem to always suggest way more energy than most are playing. Should I start dropping the Elms and Cleffas from all my decks? Oh ya...and Traders too...I usually have wanted at least a few of them in decks too. Maybe all along I have been approaching things from the wrong tact. Hmmm...less trainers and more energy....near zero drawing and no energy droughts. Thanks!.....now that I think about it you may be on to something. [Dubious]

ps: PLEASE PLEASE take a minute and tell me how to improve my Piloswine deck posted recently (Pigs have great memory)...it would be greatly appreciated

On a far more serious note:
here's what I'd try. Nice deck idea to start with, I'm just gonna mix the ratios a tad and change the anti-Slowking.
-2 Igglys
+1 S.I. Jiggly
+1 CopyCat (can NEVER have enough drawing)
-1 Time Cap (1 should be enough)
-1 Energy Charge (this deck isn't totally dependant on the 'Tress)
+1 Gold Berry (Moo Moo Milk?!?!?)
+1 Focus Band

Hey, good deck idea. Water steel is one of the best combos.
these are problems i see w/ your deck:
- 11 basics?
- more draw power needed
- too many breeders/boss's ways
- no switch?
- 14 energies is a little too less

this is what i'll do:
4 x Squirtle (Exp)
3 x Dark Wartortle (Legendary)
3 x Dark Blastoise (Legendary)
3 x Pineco (Discovery)
3 x Forretress (Discovery
4 x Cleffa (Genesis)
2 x Igglybuff (Discovery)
1 x si jiggly (this is tech too because if they zap your igglies, you can evolve)
23 pokemon

4 x Professor Elm
4 x Copycat
3 x Double Gust
4 x Pokemon Trader
2 x Rocket's Hideout
2 x Gold Berry
2 x switch
21 trainers

9 x Water Energy
4 x Metal Energy
3 x Darkness Energy
16 energies
