Well, this is the only forum that has "help" in it, so I assume this is where I ask questions?
Ok, so my question is about Rainbow Energy. On the card it says you can use it as any basic energy and do 10 to yourself. First thing, can you use it as any energy including Darkness and Steel, even though they’re Special Energy cards? Second, can you change it any time during the game, or once you use it as a basic energy it stays as that type?
Now for Goldberry. Can you use Goldberry as a Super Potion and take up to 4 off, or do you need exactly 4 damage counters (same question for Berry).
Thanks for any responses. Now for my opinion...
For Rainbow energy, they say it counts as darkness or steal, however you don't get the effect of the special card. I personally think that takes away the point of Darkness and Steal Energy and I think Rainbow should only be used for the basics. If you are going to be able to use it as Dark or steal, you might as well use it for colorless (not like you'd need too though). For changing anytime though, I think that sounds ok.
I have no opinions on the Berries, there ok either way.
I'll probably have more questions. Is there a FAQ thing I could go to instead?
Thanks.

This actually goes in single card strategies, but to answer your questions:
Rainbow energy does provide Darkness and Metal Energy, although you wont get the specific benefits those cards provide. Second, Rainbow energy provides all types of energy all the time, so you can't designate it as a specific energy at a certain time. It is always providing every color of energy.
You need at least four damage counters on your pokemon to use Gold Berry. If at any time between turns you have 4 or more damage counters on a pokemon with Gold Berry, it must be used.
