Here is a fun deck idea that you could use with Shinings or even Crystal Lugia if wanted.. It uses the same premise as some Beedrill (SR) players have incorporated but uses Gengar (SR)
and now the
Legendary Return

3 Gengar (SR)
2 Lugia (Gen)
3 Hooh (Rev)
2 Tyrogue
2 Cleffa
T 22
3 Elm
3 Copycat
2 Pokemon Fan Club
2 Trader
3 Focus Band
3 Nurse
2 Switch
2 Lure Ball
2 Energy Restore
2 Undersea Ruins
E 20
5 Water
5 Electric
5 Water
5 Psychic
If desired.. you could use 4 Hooh (Rev?) with energy Burn. It is versatil as to what Pokes you want to use.. Any Basic that has High Hp and can Benefit from the use of Gengar's Power. Gengar himself isn't that bad of an attacker if needed.. Guaranteed status is always nice.. Plus gives more time to build basics on bench for a cleaner effect!! Have fun with it!! and think of other BBP to use with Gnegar.. would be nice to see the varied ideas!!

Ok, this deck shows a little promise, but I want to tweak it up a little.
first off, 20 energy, ouch a few to many, even with needing 4 energy types. Also, no Aipom and no Towns Volunteers. Well Aipom isnt a big deal, unless you are me. But still. here we go, as discussed on AIM we will fix stadium and Lure ball as well. Here goes nothing
-4 Eenrgy (1 of each)
-2 Lure Ball
-2 Undersea Ruins
-2 Eenrgy Restorer
+2 Hyper Devo Spray
+2 Eenrgy Stadium
+1 Aipom
+1 Towns volunteers
+2 Fisherman
+1 Trader
+1 Switch/Hyper Devo Spray
Ok here goes explanations part. Fisherman, while a supporter gives you a guarunteed 4 enregy, no fliping for up to 3. Aipom is self explanitory. Towns volunteers is here mostly here for a Gengar. Gengar takes care of all the basics. Added 1 Trader for a bit more speed. And Switch/HDS is basically which one do you think you need an extra of. With Fisherman and Energy Stadium, 4 less energy still leaves you 16 in the deck, and ways to get discarded ones back, besides Gengar

I like this deck Idea a lot. Although I would add in a 3rd Gengar and maybe some Juggler. (Discard you energy draw five, evolve to gengar, mutipally attach) Just a thought.
