I have been way too busy working on qualifier decks not only for myself, but for my little brother as well(like I'd tell you which challenge that would be).

So far my testing has gotten me nowhere, Gatr is more of a bore to me and every rouge deck I have tried has either been too slow or can't get enough damage in when it need to pile up the damage quick, so I'm trying something insane, and so far it's been working quite well.

Pure Idiocy a.k.a Turbo Burn(new Archtype? probably)(v.1.0)

Pokemon: 14
4 Blaine's Growlithe(Stoke)
3 blaine's Arcanine
3 Cleffa
2 Elekid
1 Magby
1 Pichu

Trainers: 32
4 Elm
4 Erika
3 Misty's Wrath
3 IOR
3 Focus Band
4 NGR
4 Double Gust
3 Cinnibar Gym
4 Blaine

Energy: 14
14 Fire

Strange eh?

Overall Strategy: Just get a blaine's arcanine by turn 2 and get it either heat tackling the babies or firestorming the hell out of everything, which would give it the name turbo burn.

Card By Card Overview:

Blaine's Growlithe- Stoke to promote faster energy growth, more likely though at times you'd want to have it as a bench warmer at the beginning unless truly possible to get the energy needed.

Blaine's Arcanine- Heat Tackle is great, but Firestorm is the key here, you only firestorm the bigger pokemon, and faster as well. Heat Tackle the babies only or use Elekid to take care of focus banded babies, also could help to take out weaker pokemon as well.

Cleffa- Recovery, and there's nothing to it.

Elekid- Now you might wonder 2 elekids? Pichu bait right there. Not really. elekids are more for against suicunes and when blaine's arcanine has energy problems which is rare at times, but with the first things in testing I needed to use elekid more and more. Play this sparingly though when you're sure you have the pichus and magby's out of your way.

Puchu- elekid killer, feral destroyer, and just great agasint big fire in the end. this can basically be used to stack on the damage basically and then have the arcanine finish the job.

Magby- Direct power shutoff, usually I'd make this a 2nd pichu instead, but I really need the auto power shutoff when I had huge problems with recovering in the end against slowking. It can also be used against gatr in the end when all of the good trainers are gone in the opponent's discard.

Professor Elm- Give the deck a new hand, especially useful for recovery and utility. great way to find energies and to anti-deck.

erika- The main card drawer, you get everything with this card, even though it will increase your opponent's hand size, why bother, Ior takes care of that meager little problem.

Misty's Wrath- I only included 3 because I can sometimes waste too much when I use this card and not even know it. you must be sure of what you are gonna take when you wrath and that is usually hard to do in most situations.

Impostor Oaks Revenge(IOR)- To reduce your opponent's Hand size, make it tougher for them to get into a speedy state. Necessary after a huge drawing raid with erika.

Focus Band- Give your pokemon a second chance. Nifty eh?

Nightly Garbage Run(NGR)- I have 4 becaise of the speed of the deck. time Capsule would slow the deck down indefinitely, especially in tougher situations. I tried both time capsule and NGr and NGR proved to be more useful in the end. I can gain up to an extra 12 energy with multiple uses of this card, but by then the game should be over.

Double Gust- everything else is free retreat, use this wisely my friend and it shall prove most useful to taking out the bigger threats faster.

Cinnibar Island Gym- Portects the deck agianst rogue water, kingdra, and a chance to knock chaos gym back. You just have to have this in any Blaine's Deck.

Blaine- the overall speed of the deck relies on this card. Most of the time this card must go out on the 1st turn and provide 2 fire energy to your growlithe. Completely essential. The whole reason the deck is speedy in the first place.

14 Fire- the speed of the deck is more than enough to carry a low amount of energy, and 14 happens to be the # right now, it may go lower depending on the comments I recieve

Yes all suggestions are appreciated and due to the lakc of time and the fact the deck is still in the last phases of 1st level testing there is no strategy guide available yet.
Hope you enjoyed this and please share your comments, ideas, suggestions and whatnot to me so that I can make changes accordingly.

Hey, I like this deck, but it's not gonna be a new archrtype, since it is already one !!!
I heard it came out at the same as decks using Blaine's Charizard ...

Anyway, I think you should put more Magby &/or Pichu ... just take out 1 or 2 Misty's wrath ...
I found this card a little bit risky some times, and I don't like cards like that, even if it's a really good draw engine; I agree, you use NGR to get lost cards back, but if you don't have it, it can change important cards into a waste .
But do as you wish .
I'd rather use Master ball maybe (a sometimes forgotten card ...)

OH shoot! I forgot to add that it might have been coined already! D'oh! Though I'm sure I have seen a deck like this already(if someone does, please link me in their post).

And what you're trying to do is take away the speed of the deck. those misty's wrath are hard to use, but then again you really need to get certain cards out, it will all have to depend on your situation. And odds are I will not switch the ratio of pichu/magby right now, I like it the way it is. Also, I'm not a big fan of masterball in these kinds of fast decks. Thanks for your hlep tho and keep those comments coming in.

It was a pleasure for me .
Well, I must say that it's been more than 6 months I didn't play PoKéMoN ...
Maybe I should play again and try these Misty's wraths ... I perhaps may find 'em deadly, useful ... I'll see .
And, about your ratio of babies, I thought that if they were in your prizes, then, you "can" be in trouble if you need one of those babies, just think 'bout it (but do as you wish)

Gosh, sorry, I thought Misty's wrath didn't allow you to take trainers, I must have been confused with the combo "Wrath/Time capsule", since you use wrath to discard water NRGs and take trainers. Hey ....this card isn't that bad in fact ... [Evil Smirk]
