I was thinking about cards I hadn't seen in a long time the other day. I was looking through my binder and I found none other than... Dark Raticate! I know, I know. Why? I'll show you why!

Pokemon: 15
4x Rattata (Base)
3x Dark Raticate
3x Cleffa
3x Scyther (Jungle)
2x Murkrow

Trainers: 34
4x Oak
4x CPU
4x IF
4x SER
3x Rocket's Hideout
3x Focus Band
3x Lass
3x DBL Gust
3x NGR

Energy: 14
4x DCE
4x Darkness
4x Recycle
2x Grass (Swords dance if needed)

Object: Quick Damage

First turn, you may eithe of these:

Start with Rattata, Oak/CPU for everything you need to get in your hand (i.e. Dark raticate, darkness, DCE, Hideout) and play a Focus Band on Rattata. Play darkness on Rattata and play scyther/Cleffa to the bench. First turn 30 for (D). A few decks that ko Rattata on their first turn, but there's always hope with Focus band. After you have everything, Lass 'em out and bite.
Second turn, attach DCE, evolve, Hideout and depending on their active's HP, Hyper fang for a flip and 60, or bite them for 30 again. Get Multiple raticates going and Scyther for back-up. Cleffa can help set-up.

Or you could....

Start with Cleffa/Scyther. Play Rattata on the bench, Attach grass to scyther or Recycle to Cleffa, and Lass, making sure you have everything you need. If you would Lass Hideout, play it first turn, and Eeeek, swords dance (depending on what's in your hand.). Next turn, If you used Eeeek, Evolve Rattata, attach DCE to scyther, Focus Band to D Raticate, and Slash/Eeeeek. Next turn, DCE/Dark to Raticate. Keep going with Scyther, or if raticate is ready, send it up and pummel the crap out of 'em. What do you think?

Comments appreciated!

[edit] forgot about ole' murky up there. If they retreat at any point their weak active, Murky can pick them off. also can lock in first active and kill bench while SERing active [/edit]

You might want to try using the TR Rattata over the Base one. That extra 10 HP, and Power are pretty useful. It may only have a 50-50 chance of doing 20, and a 50-50 chance of doing only 10 damage for a Collorless instead of 20, but anything I didn't mention is the same. Using the TR Rattata is optional.

If heads, i do 30, tails 20 with a darkness...

Maybe I could Go TR. 10 extra HP, but not the guaranteed 30 damage first turn...maybe I could go 2 for 2? Thanks for your comment!

-2 of anything

+2 Eco Gym

Just a little protection for those Dark nrgies, without any you might run into some problems.

Just a thought.

Power_of_Arcanine uses DGOW because 1.Almost all his pokes have free retreat cost and 2.It get rid of status effects.

So why no pluspower? Darkness energy to ratatta, 3 pluspowers, and you just FTK'ed a sneasel. [Smile]

To add 4 pluspowers, I'd take out a NGR, Lass, SER, and IF.

Thanks everyone. I was one for a day.

T_R: Look at Dark Ho-oh's post.

Dark Ho-oh: Thanks for explaining that for me.

Rocket's Sandshrew: I was thinking about pluspowers, but I don't know if I really need them...I might add a few, though. Thanks.

Houndoom121: Why? Rocket's Scyther does nothing for the deck. I do not need stall. Dark Dragonite/Dragonair blantly well...sucks. I'm only playing one evo line and with the draw power I'm playing I have no problem getting out the pokemon. Thanks, though.
