Topic: L-U returns with a ......Donphan?

sorry every1 I've been dormant for a while but my league won't start until Feb. so I just started preparing now(also expedition didn't change the game much, but aquapolis looks promising). This new deck i think will be great for MMF(when i take out the UNL cards) cuz it fights evos, dishes damage, and i easily convertible to MMF when tourney season rolls around. I might add darkness NRG. Thanx for any suggestions. Here it is:

Hmm. Unlimited or MF? You mention MMF, but have UNL cards (ER/SER). Donphan is tough in UNL since Scyther wrecks him on turn 2; you'd need magnifier to counter his resistance, too. You'd be using your flail attack too much. ER/SER murder a 3 basic energy requirement pokemon that can't use DCE. Can you think of another such PKMN that is successful in UNL for those energy costs without using DCE or plasma type attacks?
However, MF is a nice combo with Donphan/Tyrogue-HLee: Rapid Spin for 50, then switch out FB/Tryrogue. Next turn, drop Hitmonlee & another energy and stretch kick their damaged hitter which is now cowering on the bench.
I know league uses mostly UNL, so if you go UNL, add chaos gym to stop the trainers that will take you down once you're set up. Also, use LASS for a nice combo with Cleffa.
In either format, finally:

thanx dude, but i think u want me to add tyrogue, the prev. to the 'tops? i already have them so sorry for the spelling error. also, me and my friend are playing in unlimited but no one ven at league play any archtypes cuz then games are too easy. This deck is built to play in modified when the chnace to comes around.
