Hi for all!!
need some help in my deck.. I'm kind of newbie in pokemon trading card, here is it:

Pokemon(23)
3 Charmander
2 Charmeleon
2 Growlithe
1 Arcanine
2 Ponyta
1 Rapidash(jungle)
1 Magmar (fossil)
1 Blane's Vulpix

2 Weedle
1 Kakuna
1 Koga's Weedle
1 Koga's Kakuna
1 Koga's Beedrill
2 Nidoran -male
1 Nidorino

1 Elekid (neo genesis)

Trainer (11)
3 Potion
3 Energy Removal
2 Plus Power
2 Energy Retreval
1 Bill

Energy(26)
11 Grass
15 Fire

what can I do, to get it better ??

Welcome to Pokemon:TCG...don't feel disheartend if a huge number of people don't reply to this...most wont even look at it if it isn't exactlyu like their deck or another popular arch-type (highly used and effective deck deck..like Kingdra)

So, on with the fixing. As wiht most newer players your deck lacks a little focus, so lets work on that first.

First off, too many different Pokemon.

-3 Charmander
-2 Charmeleon
-2 Weedle
-1 Kakuna
-2 Nidrin Male
-1 Nidorino
-1 Blaine's Vulpix

Now...

+ 2 Gowlithe
+ 2 Arcanine
+ 3 Magmar
+ 2 Koga's Weedle
+ 1 Koga's Kakuna
+ 1 Ponyta
+ 1 Rapidash

While not the ideal amounts of each, I'm sure you're working with a limited collection.

Now...too much energy

Bring it down to this number

6 Grass
10 Fire

More than that would just be too many.

Now for the trainers...you're running an unlimited (as opposed to Modifed Format) deck so let's use the best trainers (IMHO)

+3 Bill...can't have too many
+2 Prof Oak
-3 Potion
+1 Energy Removal
+4 Energy Search.
+4 Gold Berries

So you deck should look like such...

Pokemon(22)

4 Growlithe
3 Arcanine
3 Ponyta
2 Rapidash
4 Magmar
3 Koga's Weedle
2 Koga's Kakuna
1 Koga's Beedrill

Trainers(22)
4 Energy Removal
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
4 Gold Berries
4 Energy Search
2 PlusPower
2 Energy Retrieval

Energy(16)
6 Grass
10 Fire

So there you go...and I'm sure everyone here is going to tell you to put in things like Entei and Magcargo...just ignore them...they spend hundreds a month on cards and believe everyone else does also..while I have a lot of cards, I don't spend THAT much....but I understand how it can be just starting out.
