Okay, here's a quirky little idea that popped intomy head: I have been trying to find a way to help EXP Gengar, and I think I found it. I combine it with one of the least likely Pokemon: Base/2/LC Magnemite! yes it sounds insane, but hear me out: I can control their prize flow this way, load up their bench with damage, and do a respecable 40 on turn two. I can then quickly evovle my Gengars, and move all my damage counters to one guy to heal them with a Pokemon Center/Nurse (still debating on that), or move as many of their damage counters to another Pokemn as soon as I can. If all goes well, I can load up most of their Pokemon so that each Self-destruct is maximized. It will be tricky, but hey, I am trying to be creative and make use of some otherwise unpopular cards. So here's the proto-type:

Pokemon Cards x 18
Cleffa (NG) x 3
Gastly (LC) x 4
Haunter (?) x 2
Gengar (EXP) x 3
Magnemite x 4
Tyrogue (NDi) x 2

Trainer Cards x 24
Copy Cat x 3
Double Gust x 2
Focus Band x 3
Pokemon Breeder x 2
Pokemon Breeder Fields x 2
Pokemon Center x 1 (2 supporters, so no Nurse)
Pokemon Trader x 2
Pokemon March x 2
Professor Oak's Research x 3
Stadium Card x 3 (Can't decide)
Timecapsule x 1

Energy Cards x 18
Lightning Energy x 4
Psychic Energy x 6
Rainbow Energy x 4
Recycle Energy x 4

I just made it, so it most definitely needs help.

Hey MS, thanks for posting. All though, I just wanted you to take a peak: I expected a rant on how it was too crappy to even be a fun deck, not a fix. [ROFL] Maybe its not as hopeless as I thought. As for your fix... it had some good points, but somethings I have found to not work in other decks in the past. Among the tricky points: a fourth Celffa in a deck that does damage to its own bench; running Elm with Copycat(its got a real low success rate: that is, I have only once seen someone pull off Copycatting then Elming). So I will stick with Oak's Research. It has been very usefultoo me, especially late game: I have used it to shuffle large, useless hands into my deck. I prefer at least three Stadium cards normally... but in this case, since the stadium is just to have one (I still need input on what one to use), I will probably take your advice. Pokemon Breeder Fields stays: its not funny how often that thing helps me out: I tend to get the percentages right on-so one game it fails me, but then on two I'll get at least one, and on the fourth I'll nab two evos. As for adding a Center: Remeber- the idea is to just use it to clean up excess damage, if need be. Still, another wouldn't hurt. Finally, as for the Haunter, I forgot to mention (??) was undecided. I am thinking of the Fossil version, since a Magnemite going BOOM with a Self-Destruct will trigger Transparency. Unfortunately, so will Hide in Shadwows. [Frown] It is more splashable however... Finally, as I mentioned with Cleffa, I probably should lighten up on the Babies-they have a low HP, so If I get stuck with a lot of them eary on, it could ruin the startegy. Adding 'Krow to help with Clean-up.
Here's my new take on the deck:

Pokemon Cards x 19
Cleffa Lv6 x 3
Electabuzz Lv35 x 2
Gastly Lv17 x 4
Haunter Lv17 x 2-mainly for Slowking
Gengar B-87 x 3
Magnemite Lv13 x 3
Murkrow Lv?? x 2 (NG version)

Trainer Cards x 25
Copy Cat x 3
Focus Band x 3
Pokemon Breeder x 2
Pokemon Breeder Fields x 2
Pokemon Center x 2
Pokemon Trader x 2
Pokemon March x 2
Professor Oak's Research x 3
Stadiums x 2 (Can't decide)
Timecapsule x 1
Warp Point x 2

Energy Cards x 18
Darkness Energy x 4
Lightning Energy x 6
Rainbow Energy x 4
Recycle Energy x 4

Thanks again. Anyone else? [Smile]
