With the dastardly EX Pokémon out now, this deck is now possible. That's right...12 Sneasel! And here is that deck:

Pokémon (21)
4 Sneasel (Neo Revelations)
4 Sneasel EX (EX: Ruby & Sapphire)
4 Rocket's Sneasel (Best #5)
3 Smoochum (Neo Revelations)
3 Porygon (Neo Destiny)
3 Porygon2 (Neo Revelations)

Trainers (19)
4 Moo-Moo Milk (Neo Genesis)
3 Energy Charge (Neo Genesis)
3 Power Charge (Expedition)
3 Energy Stadium (Neo Destiny)
3 Professor Birch (EX: Ruby & Sapphire)
3 Switch (Expedition)

Energy (20)
4 Darkness Energy (EX: Ruby & Sapphire)
4 Rainbow Energy (Aquapolis)
12 Psychic Energy (or any other type of basic Energy card)

The whole basis of the deck is to have 12 Sneasel. Since Neo Genesis Sneasel is not allowed in Modified, the other Neo Sneasel was used. It can discard those precious Gold Berries your opponent treasures. Sneasel EX appears to be a fix of the original (Genesis) Sneasel, but with Weakness, Retreat Cost, and higher attack cost. Rocket's Sneasel can keep your opponent from retreating if need be. Smoochum can keep your opponent's Special Energy off the Pokémon, and the Porygon2 line is there to assist Sneasel on Energy cost if need be. After all, Darkness and Rainbow Energy can't power up all Sneasel you have in play!

Moo-Moo Milk is the healer, and Energy Charge and Power Charge return the Darkness and Rainbow Energy to your deck. Energy Stadium can return your basic Energy to your hand, Birch is for card drawing, and Switch is there in case a Porygon2 or Sneasel EX without Energy is "gusted" into play.

Any comments, fixes, and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just don't ask me to "sneak" cards into the deck.

Oh, and this isn't a joke deck.

Alright, enough with the joke decks. Yes Chuck made one, but one is enough. Only post serious deck ideas here.

Yea, I'm sorry I did what I did. I didn't know people like Carrington were going to follow in my footsteps by posting other horrible joke decks.

Please post seriously from now on Carrington. Tahnk You.

This deck is not a joke deck. This is the second in a series showcasing powerful EX and Rocket based swarms of Big Basic Pokémon, in this case Sneasel.

Carrington, you need to stop.

It's REALLY not funny.

You're going to get banned if you keep doing stuff like this.

Why would he get banned for making a deck that consists of 4 different types of Sneasel. First of all, it's not a joke. Second, there is strategy in the deck. Third, he's folloing the Deck Help and Strategy guidelines. Fourth, I don't see you making a deck, so don't complain about other ppls decks for no apparent reason.

Wow...just...wow...'nuff said. Read my post on the Mewtwo deck. It applies to this one too.

AZero: Whenever I DO post a deck it gets ignored. It's the most frustrating thing when you've spent too much time in a game where the cycle of stubborn, thick headed people just sit there and will fight you tooth and nail over any fix. And when you (me in this case) post decks to show the people how to contructively build decks, our forms are ignored. I HAVE been in this game for a LONG time. And I have helped a lot of people, or so I've thought. So I do KNOW what I'm talking about. But it's not about egos or great decklists, it's about my frustration and pretty much giving up on teaching players even the most basic forms of strategy.

Nice to see SOME OLD faces around here... BTW nice deck ideas...

Eh, i don't think this is a JOKE deck... that one by BigChuck01... well [Wink]

C'mon you know TRENDS get started pretty easy around here...

BTW Carrington... MOO MOO milks are NOT staple cards... and yeah I've read your recommendations, so I think some people around here unfortunately are trying to undermine your serious posts. BUT then again I could be wrong...

WHO KNOWS if the cards you have put together here will even be allowed by Nintendo... who knows what the future brings.

OK, I typed too much:

KEEP IT COOL around here, capiche? lol

A serious fix to a crazy deck...

Pokemon:
Smoochum is not needed in any deck. it's just too weak to be included. Replace that with Genesis Cleffa. Also, since Porygon2 is a Support evolution only, play 2 Porygon and 2 Porygon2 (2).

Trainers:
Dude, get this through your head, PROFESSOR BIRCH SUX MORE THAN OAK'S RESEARCH!!!!!!! OK, now that that's out (5), I think that you're overdoing the energy recovery thing there. You should only need 2 Stadium cards anyway (6), and 6 Energy Charges is just tooooooo much. I'd say drop that down to 3 (9). Now that's smoothed out, put in the usual card drawing engine of 4 Elm, 4 Copycat, and 3 Trader. Actually, screw the Trader for Fan Club, which helps out Sneasel tremendously (-2). You are going to need more Pokemon protection than just Moomoo, so I'd say that you drop in a few Focus Band. Actually, max out on those (-6). And, for space's sake, take out the Moomoo (-2). Considering that you should have enough energy on anything to attack, think about removing those Switch for Double Gust. Now, just add in the 2 Town Volunteers, and you're done with the Trainers (-4).

Energy:
The remaining 4 spots come out of the Psychic energy.

I'm too lazy to actually post the deck. Good luck!!

who knows? Let's hope so. However, I wouldn't go around just dissing WOTC like that. If you haven't noticed, they've done virtually everything for the game, and will continue to do so until they end their envolvment on August 31. When TPC wanted to get rid of the 15+ age group, WOTC fought them tooth and nail (figure of speech...) and got us the Professor Program which, while it's certaintly not the best system out there, it is better than not having that age group. HOwever, this conversation is not to be had in a deck discussion. Come back in another topic.
