Well, hello again to everyone. To those of you who care... -crickets churp, and someone throws a can at me-. Dang, well I'll tell you why I've been absent. My stupid as hell computer crashed. Modern technology for ya, eh? ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) And I am having no luck fixing it, or finding the startup CD. UGH! (At my dad's house typing this). I have been racking my brain trying to think of new ideas. The best I've come up with lately are:
Turbo Jumpluff swarm, that Scyther/Mewtwo "Hay" deck, and a varation of Dark Duck's Dark Muk deck. However, I did think of another Pokemon that is really fast during setup. I am trying to make a deck out of him. The deck is fast, but the damage isn't as high as I'd like it to be. So without further adieu, lemme present...

Pokemon: 14
4 Chinchou (Revelation)(One Electric for poss 20 first turn, not bad, evolve into...)
4 Light Lanturn (Main hitter. These Pokes are great in swarms. Guaranteed bench damage is always nice)
2 Rocket's Scyther (Covers Lanturn's weakness and is great vs. Gatr)
2 Cleffa (Duh. Card drawing and advantage)
2 Pichu (Anti-powers)
Energy: 14
9 Electric (Fuel for Lanturn)
5 Grass (Fuel for Scyther)
Trainers: 32
4 Professor Elm (Oak's Modified Counterpart)
4 Misty's Wrath (Secondary card drawing, speed)
4 Erika (Third source of drawing, combo with RSA/IOR.
4 Focus Band (Hang on against OHKOs)
4 Double Gust (You just need 4 of this card, I mean c'mon...)
4 Rocket's Sneak Attack ("Hey, nice Elm in your hand, now put it back in your deck")
3 Imposter Oak's Revenge (Combo with Erika and RSA)
3 Nightly Garbage Run (With 4 Wrath, yea, I play three, and I usually use them all)
2 Energy Stadium (Break Chaos, and help me with energy)
Strategy: Build up a swarm of Lanturn. Hit them strong early while you disrupt their game play. Lanturn's Spark attack is really great early. LL for 30 and 10 to a chosen bench target. Do that several turns in a row after attacking with Chinchou first turn for 10 or 20. The damage isn't very high, but it is consistant. And in swarms these Pokemon are annoying to the Bench. Bring up the benched Pokemon that are damaged, and just deal them 30 and hit another Poke on their bench for 10. Do the math, it adds up. Scyther covers weakness, and helps with Gatr.
It's just an idea. One of MINE to boot. What does that mean? Inevitable failure I'm afraid. But ya know it feels good to try new things. Just like DMTM's sig says, try stepping out of the box...

Hey Gymbo, T-Tar and I though Mr T had his way with you =/ Anyways nic deck as usual. Maybe you could fit 2 Choas Gyms in there, to help agianst gatr. (t seems you can never tech agianst him enough)
Maybe:
-1 RSA
-1 Electric(he only needs two and you have E Staduim)
+2 Choas
Other then that it looks good.

interesting. seeing how much i love kingdras doing this... this looks very nice. and is a stage 1 too. nice. whats lanturns HP? 80 or 90?
