Pokemon (21) 3 Scyther (Neo Discovery) 3 Scizor (Promo) 3 Nidoran (Base) 3 Nidrino (Base) 3 Nidoking (Base) 3 Murkrow (Neo Genesis) 3 Magmar (Neo Genesis)
Trainers (18) 4 Bill 4 Energy Removal 3 Gold berry 3 Prof. Elm 2 Gust of Wind 2 Switch
Energies (21) 4 Double Colorless Energy 4 Darkness Energy 4 Metal Energy 9 Grass Energy
Pokemon of the Deck: This deck is based on speed and has no consistant weakness. Scyther is a 60 HP pokemon who can do up to 90 damage but does a regular 30 due to the laws of probabilty. Elvoving to Scizor doesn't really help HP but gives me a 30+ attack and overload option (If I play 3 (M)energy and 3 (D)energy to Scizor he does 60+). Nidorino Can knock out almost every basic pokemon with Horn Drill and with the help of Gust of Wind I can speed up that process. Nidoking can cause and opponent to panic with Toxic. Double poison isn't pretty for baby pokemon, basic pokemon and any pokemon weak against grass. Nidoking also has 90 HP which will keep him in the game longer. Murkrow has low HP but has no retreat cost, along with switch status change attacks from my opponent is pointless, I can just use switch canceling status change then switch back a the once effected pokemon. Murkrow also acts as a baby smacker able to knock out any baby pokemon. Lastly, Magmar even though I have no fire energy Magmar can make use of DCE. I use Magamr primarily for confronting Steel pokemon.
Trainers of the Deck: The trainers I have chosen are simple and are situational. I draw cards when I need them with Bill and Proffesor Elm. I heal when I need to with Gold berry(no pokemon besides Nidoran has under 50 HP). I retreat bigger pokemon with switch and I attack who I want with Gust of wind. Energy Removal slows down my opponents pokemon and holds off special energy users.
Strategy of the Deck: Like I said before this deck is based on speed. Every pokemon in the deck can attack in 2 turns or less. Poison is the basis, fight off as many takers with scizor and Scyther then send out Nidoking to pick up prizes then send in murkrow for clean up. This deck is extremely simple in design but complicated to use. With no baby pokemon to stall strategy changes with evergy deck I encounter. Strategy Guide- Fire= Nidoking based. Powering up Nidoking while using Scyther as a sheild. Water= Runs normal. Colorless= Runs normal. Grass= More emphsis is put on Scizor because of his resistance. Fighting= Evolving Scyther becomes pointless and Murkrow helps too. Dark= Dark is usually a sub-type and hardly a base so refer to main type. Metal= Magmar comes out as fast as possible Electric= Runs as normal. Psychic= Nidoking's family line does for murkrow and Scizor what they do for him when confronting a fire deck.
Weakness of the Deck: The only real weakness I find a problem is lack of HP and attacks over 50 damage mostly all my attacks do 30 damage (30,30+ or 30x).

Gold Berry is a no-no in most environments. I suggest, since this is Unlimited, that you go with Super Potion instead.

I now see why I should switch Gold Berry to Super potion, because of the low HP but I was wondering wether to change Murkrow to Sneasle?

Onikama: thanks for the input on Noccromancer. Checking your deck, other than the perhaps lack of card drawing and protection from SER (since this is an unlimited deck), I have but one suggestion: yank one promo scizor and tech in a dark scizor. You're running metal and darkness, why not have a poke that can use both, that still has grass resistance, and can, potentially, dish out 70 damage while absorbing 40 itself (that is, if you're lucky enough to play all 4 dark and all 4 metal on it at once)? The scizor you run now gets harmed by darkness energy, since darkness places counters rather than damage (N.B.: I've been in China for a year. If what I've said about darkness energy is no longer true, or never was true, please correct my behind-the-times self). A question, too: why the promo scizor over the AQ one?
Cheers, and happy battling.
