Mysterious Trainer, please do not type the word "yes" so many times as it only spams the boards. This is some cool news DMTM and we are grateful your giving us a little sneak peek. I hope we can get some challenge series info out soon too.

Very quick on the heels of Expedition tho' ... now there's nothing happening that would make WotC want to rush sets out quickly is there?

Like maybe an announcement on Licensing?

If it is out in December the UK would have had expedition just over a month! and then straight into another set.. Can't be good for sales surely we still won't be expeditioned out...

Mmmmmmmm....

Hey, lighten on the yeses. 186 yeses was certainly appropriate for this post.

At least someone is posting responses [Roll Eyes]

What fab information this early. You know what this means!!! Only 6 shopping weeks until Aquapolis - and that it will be legal in my tourney after Christmas most likely. Tempted to make that Aquapolis Draft, but, I might be getting ahead of myself, (like that ever happens) [Dubious]

Hey, like they say, more drafts!!! More drafts!!

See you on the boards.

Rush? Hardly it is the normal amount of time between sets. Besides the European Expedition situation as unfortunate as that was cannot dictate regular sets coming out. Surely you can see that?

I forgot to add that Aquapolis will not have the same unfortunate delay it did in Europe that Expedition had. I announced taht in the chat. Just the regular normal ones. [Razz]

Lastly you are perhaps forgetting what time of year it is? What could possibly be coming up that we would want to ge Aquapolis out for?

I can see why E-card 2 and 3 got together for Aquapolis, (and probably Skyridge will be E-card 4 and 5). We need to get the sets out fast. And no, I don't think it's because of the license issue.

It's simply because we have to catch up with Japan, so we'll get the new-Pokémon-expansions in time for Ruby and Sapphire. In Japan, the new Pokémon Game Boy Advance games Ruby and Sapphire, with 100 new Pokémon, are released November 21st. The new "Neo Genesis-like" set will be released in January 2003 in Japan!

And Nintendo of America say they want to release the new 100 Pokémon in USA "early 2003". Remember how fun it was when the Neo sets came, and you finally could evolve your Golbats and Seadras into powerful Stage 2 Pokémon, when you previously had to stick to the not so good Stage 1s?

This will happen again! Wobbuffet gets his own baby, same with Marill - that's 100 % sure. I'm still hoping for that Psyduck baby... [Wink] or Kingduck!

August to December/January..... sounds about right in terms of release periods. Good times.

Skyridge? Nifty!! Sort of goes alone with the whole exploration theme of Expedition, no? I mean both Aquapolis and Skyridge sound like far off lands.... prime for discovery. I wonder what the one after Skyridge will be like. [ponders]

Aquapolis obviously lends itself well to Water, and Skyridge lends itslef to Flying, or maybe Rock. I suspect more Type-esque names. Common ones, so far. Maybe. Ideas:

Great Plains (Grass)
Arachnia (Bug)
New Jersey (Poison [Big Grin] )

OMG the set isn't even out yet and someone's complaining about a possible broken card.

HELLO -- EVERY set has broken cards, whether it be a mere 1 or 2 (Discovery -- Rogue and Iggly) or sets like Base set or Neo Genesis that had more of them than anything. Gotta learn to embrace the brokenness, man...

I'm just hoping that one of those energies aforementioned provides 3 colorless and isn't restricted to what type of Pokemon can use it...even if it does only last one turn...TCE on Wiggly...*drool*

--------------------
What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.

Viva la unoriginality!

If the card really WAS broken, you would have seen complaints on these boards, leading Wizards to consider banning it. Everyone seems fine with it though, so don't complain about a card that's beaten you a few times. There is a TON of stuff out there that beats it. Bye the way-WHO USES WIGGLY ANYMORE?! Everyone I know now plays Modified format. And if I had to play Unlim, I would use Sneasel. Bye the way again-can you please tell me how 'rogue is broken?
