YES!! pokemon breeder, finally plume (hopefully) can dig himself out of the grave, smart choice for modifed thanks DMTM, now to unfold all those paper airplane breeders!!
Well if plume doesnt make it to LC at least all stage 2's get the privlege

This is a great card to have is any evolution deck. I think that this is going to be a great set to add to the collection even if they are going to be reprints.

Breeder? ![[Dropjaw]](../tcg/graemlins/dropjaw.gif) That's one i thought you'd never do - Turn 2 Dark Gatr really slows down your opponent. Turn 2 Dark Ampharos really slows down your opponent. Turn 2 Crobat. Turn 2 Typhlosion (works pretty good with both). Turn 2 Alakazam. Turn 2 for Venusaur. Boggles the mind....
Probably means Fossil Muk is in the set......

You forgot the most obvious card that will work with Breeder, Dark Gengar. Turn one put opponent asleep with gastly. Turn two use breeder then Dark Gengar and the game is in the bag with Gengars pokemon power. Retreat him and let the rest take care of buisness!!!
This card is THE card I will be using in my new deck. Now if I could just get rid of Slowking Dark Gengar would be unstoppable espec. with chaos gym disappearing!!!!

I think adding Breeder is a TERRIBLE idea. Thats a huge boost to all stage 1 final evo. pokemon. This speeds up the game, which, in my opinion makes MF closer to Unlimited. I like all the choices to include in the set except POKEMON BREEDER ![[Mad]](../tcg/mad.gif)

DMTM...do you really think Breeder would HELP the current state of Modified OR New Modified? Speed kills...

If you take a trip over to my site i am reading through and gathering the info and posting it...
but here it is again...
Legendary Collection - Set Info As Collected From All Of DMTM's Posts (DMTM Correct Anything i Have Not Gotten Right Please)
Here is the details about the new pokemon set, that have been released so far.
It is due out in late May.
It will have four individual oversized foil cards (one in every booster box) that will have a Pokémon on them and a list of what is in the set on the other side. These cards will be about 3" x 5". These cards will be on the inside of the box. One per box! They call these "Box Toppers"
It will have A reverse holo foil card in almost every pack. Each card in the set will have this treatment. Meaning you can get a foil Bill and a non-foil Bill.
There will also be a regular foil teatment for the Rare holo cards as well. These will occur in the same one in three ratio as before...remember this is over the whole print run so your results may vary a little.
What this means is it will be possible to get a regular holo Charizard and a reverse holo Charizard in one pack!
This set is a reprint of cards we thought needed to be put back into the modified environment...and should make for a good sealed/draft environment.
Two 61 card PCD's will release about one month after this product releases.

4. Base Set Alakazam
5. Team Rockets Dark Vaporeon
6. Base Set Zapdos
7. Base Set Bill

The ratios will change...somewhat for the cards per pack
No 1st Edition.
This set has the old backs.
No Basic Energy in this set.
All preveiously printed cards in set will be legal.
This set is a reprint of select cards from Base To Team Rocket

DMTM I saw the post where only cards from Base through Team Rocket are being re-released. What about Resistence Gym from the Gym Challenge series ?
Also any insight into why Breeder Fields when
there is Pokemon Breeder Fields (other than
speed) ?

It make double Stage 2 evolution line possible!!!
Meganium/Venusaur
Meganium/Beedrill
Typhlosion/Charizard (Magcargo is still better)
and more!!!!
But I don't like Breeder in MMF.
In my opinion, Modified format is to correct the problem in unlimit format: heavyly depend on speed. So everyone play only Big Basic Pokemon with cheap attack, a lot trainer the get speed and hurt the opponent.
So Modified is to slow down the game and take away disruption. This give players extra time to build up higher evolution and expensive attack pokemon. Otherwise, everyone will play only Big Basic Pokemon with cheap attack.
Bring back Breeder will bring back speed. I am more interesting to know what trainer will be in the set.
One more thing, I need the best colorless wall: Jungle Lickitung!!!!!!!!!

Well Breeder is gonna give Big Fire and Venucenter a huge bost. Kingdra won't benifit from it (who really want to have a second turn Kingdra that can only Fin slap? ![[Dubious]](../tcg/graemlins/dubious.gif) ) So you keep Big Fire in check water needs... drum roll please... Fossil Seadra! If not Kingdra will have a difficult time keeping Big fire down.
DMTM, you are truly an evil person for doing this. (of course it wouldn't be much fun without a little havoc would it? ) But it will make matches much faster and more interesting. Since Breeder is back we should not get CPU Search or Item Finder. That'd make it too easy to get the Breeder. I still want to see DCE (even though Charizard will abuse it).
I think Goop Gas Attack should be re-released to Stop those powers that Breeder helps. thats 1 turn Charizard and Venusaur can't attack (I say Venusaur because it will be used with Meganium and only have 2 energies on it most of the time) it will stop Alakazam from Damage Swapping for 1 turn and will stop Typhlosion from powering up Magcargo or whatever for one turn.
Breeder is definatly tilting the scale in favor of Stage 2's so people will now have to think alot more to stop these powerful 2nd turn monsters. Good thing most all of the Stage 2's that will benfit most from this have Pokemon Powers. (Can you say Pichu? I knew you could )

Why there are only "ALMOST" every pack have the reverse Holo? What is special inside the pack if it has no reverse holo? A special normal Holo?
I think DMTM will not answer this question.
Moreover, there are 110 cards in the set.
Is it 110 different cards + the 110 corresponding reverse holo cards? (same card number on both regular and reverse holo card)
Or
There is only 55 different cards + another 55 reverse holo cards? (different card number on both regular and reverse holo card)
If it is only 55 different cards, this set is too small.
The smallest Pokemon set is Fossil: 62 cards but 15 double Hole/Rare. So only 47 different cards.

Well, I look forward to any of the following being re-released:
Aredactyl- with Breeder Back, it will be more of a "well, someone might be playing it" card, but no were near "broken" (in nearly every deck).
Dark Vileplume: the ultimate in Trainer denial
Muk: Pishu's already in every thing anyway, so it will not hurt the environment IMHO.
Gambler: Doubt it, but it is my preferred draw card.

I believe DMTM said it was the way they did it in Magic...based on my experiences with Magic Online (never played offline before), it appears that the non-holo and the reverse-holo cards have the same numbers. (In other words, the first option you listed.)

This is a simple answer. We are not garunteeing that you will get a "Reverse Holo" in every pack. One way or another. We will strive to put a Reverse in almost every pack but if you open one that does not have one we are not going to replace it because you think there should be one in every one. We have quite clearly said that most will have one. Heck some will have both a reverse and a regular. But some may get through with none. We want you to know what the expectation clearly is.
110 cards all with a reverse foil parallel card. Just like Magic.

What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I bet that in Modified Modified that Gatr will be banned. With Breeder, every game will end up being a "Hit and Run" game. ![[NoNoNo]](../tcg/graemlins/nonono.gif) I mean, c'mon. You banned that weasel's butt, now give Gatr the boot. He has been runing the current enviorment for too long now. You should either ban him, or make him a card where you are limited to 1 or 2 per deck.
