I almost forgot:

One of the star cards I am most impressed with is Pelipper. Here are his stats:

Pelipper – 70 Hp Stage 1 – Evolves from Wingull

1C – Stockpile – During your next turn, Spit Up’s base damage is 70 instead of 30, and Swallow’s base damage is 60 instead of 20.

1W 1C – Spit Up 30
1W 2C – Swallow 20 – After your attack, remove from Pelipper the number of damage counters equal to the damage you did to the Defending Pokemon. If Pelipper has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them.

Weakness – Lightning Resistance – Fightning Retreat – 1C

Go there if you'd like to see a card pic of the Japanese version of the Beautifly card (though the art is a little dark there).

Taichi- I think Nintendo will keep the same MSRP.

Wow, I am glad there are going to be holos in this set. I didn't buy 4 boxes to get a bunch of rares.

14 Holo, that is not much. Finally I don't have to invest a lot money in the set, to complete it.

Expedition - skyridge > they were very expensive for me

exactly! the "ex"'es are normal rares, so 14 holos is the smallest set ever! wow! but it's still hard to complete the reverse holos ..

what about boxtoppers?!?!

Did they limit you on the number of boosters you could buy?

And what is the 'extra card' ?

Extra card? I think you may be referring to Rainbow Energy...as I don't believe that was in the minidecks or the ADV1 booster.

Ahhhhh.... so Rainbow Energy was the extra card in the set. How many times will it be reprinted? [Razz]

And it also looks like they remixed the rarities a bit. Nosepass... a rare? It was a common in Japan...

Yep, and I believe one of those Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip cards (the Ken Sugimori art ones from the minidecks) were all holo. But now they're common (and rightfully so). I think Nintendo did good with setting rarities though, even if they did change some.

Sorry No Box toppers. Pokemon Center had a vast quantity of supplies for this new set. There was no limit on how many you could buy. I got a box and a half.

14 holo?
Well, 14 regular holos, but there are also 8 ex holos, and they are part of the "premium card rarity, same as all the other holos. So, that's 22 holos altogether!

Now, I may have misread something, but tell me: are the odds of pulling a regular holographic still 1/3?
