hey everyone, I got a glimpse of the new April BZ promos today. They're:

- Dark Ivysaur "Winner" non foil
- Hitmonchan non-winner foil

I'll report more tomorrow after I get a better look. I'll check to see if they corrected the HP misprint on Hitmonchan, and I'll report Dark Ivy's abilities.

ooooo dark ivysaur. another has the potential to join my rocket team. Although, i could never get a dark grass deck to do very well. i think lightning, fire, and water have the best chances

Here's Dark Ivysaur's game text:

Dark Ivysaur (Stage 1) 50HP

Poke-BODY: Vine Pull
Once during your turn when Dark Ivysaur retreats, choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon and switch it with his or her Active Pokemon.

GG - Fury Strikes
Your opponent puts 3 markers onto his or her Pokemon (divide as he or she chooses). (More that 1 marker can be put on the same Pokemon.) Then, this attack does 10 damage to each Pokemon for each marker on it. Don't apply Weakness and Resistance. Remove the markers at the end of the turn.

Weakness - Fire
Resistance - none
Retreat Cost - CC

Best Promo #6

Also, the non-winner Hitmonchan still has the 60HP misprint.

I think it's the best BZ promo so far. Dark Venusaur and Ivysaur are real cool, and I've always wanted them to be released in English. I didn't like the reprinting of 'Buzz and 'Chan, because I dislike that they can be played in Modified, and I didn't like anything about the two Rocket's cards except that they looked kind of cool. THIS is a cool promo! [Smile]

Funny how they changed them from regular Neo Destiny-style cards to to the newer e-card style. They even cahnged te Pokemon Power on the original Ivysaur to a PokeBody

My local BZ league got them in today, so I went and checked them out. The one thing I would of like is with the Dk Ivysaur is if you put the damage counters on your opponents Pokemon and not your Opponent, would of made it a little bit better card. And I agree with the idea of getting a Promo Unown R before WOTC is not longer doing OP.
