Sorry to all of you who were really looking forward to "Energy Plug" - and good news for all of you who didn't like the idea of "Energy Plug".
The trainer is "fuusen nomi" which translates to Balloon Berry. And, the card has turned out to be a reprint of Balloon Berry. You can see a scan here: http://www.pokeschool.com/tcg/sets/jp/adv3/balloonberry.jpg If you are wondering why that scan hasn't been added to our ADV 3 scan section yet, it is part of tomorrow's update.
I have also worked on getting some translated names for the trainers. Here is what I came up with:
Energy Wraparound Device Card 050/054 Took me a bit to find the Kanji, but I was able to find it and got that as a translation.
TV Reporter Card 051/054 You really do have to love Katakana.
Old Man Briney's Consideration 052/054 This one I just translated, so I can explain this one. The Japanese name of this card is: Hagi roujinno omoiyaru Hagi is the Japanese name for Mr. Briney. Roujin is old man, and with the no after it makes it "own" the next part, which is omoiyaru. Omoiyaru means consideration (or being kind). So, put it all together and you get Old Man Briney's Consideration.
Balloon Berry 053/054 Like I said earlier, fuusen is balloon.
Protection Fragment 054/054 I'm not totally sure if I have this one right, but it should be pretty close.

Aaaahhhhhhhh ok... that makes much more sense. Yeah, what I translated did involve discarding "Energy Plug" as opposed to Energy, and since Balloon Berry does that (in a manner of speaking)... makes sense now. Thanks.
As for the rest of my card titles, that's what I translated. Since I didn't know Mr. Briney's Japanese name, it didn't make much sense to me when I translated it. [nods] And "Energy Circulation" did have a "Device" to the end of it, but I originally ignored it. I made the fixes now though. [ June 23, 2003, 10:07 PM: Message edited by: nick15 ]

OK I got exgeratted and made a mistake!!!
But anyway, you are right Kindra EX is great!!! It's first attack is the remnant of genetic memory of NEO 3. But why a water nrg requirement???
Also Magcargo EX's 2nd attack is similar to that its NEO 3 cousin only a liitle cheaper!!!
What do you think?

nick15 (aka P.v.L.) - please LMK how I can share some info with you for the ADV3 spoiler! I can be reached via email. The gist of it is my copies of cards #19 & 27 are holo-rare.
BTW - I met the Kaiserin and got one of each 'card' last Saturday!! Great stuff!

I guess when they turn something into an EX Pokemon they make it much better and much worse. This way, you will have to play Kindgra in a Water deck, unlike most ppl who stick it in a Steelix deck and attach 1 energy to it all game...
