This might sound like sour grapes, but... I was really disappointed to see that WotC's big send-off is focused on one event that many, many fans won't get to go to. I'm a working mom with three kids, and I can't up and go to Gen-Con, paying for airfare and lodging.
I'd much rather that some sort of "Fan Appreciation" Kit get sent to active Leagues. Most of my leisure dollars for the past 3 years at least has gone into Pokemon cards. I and all three of my kids still play and work constantly on teaching new players. Confining a Fan Appreciation gesture to one location seems, well, elitist. It's all well and good for those priviledged few, but the rest of us get left in the cold, IMHO.

I am going to re-open this thread, because there is some kind of board glitch with the copy in the Tournaments forum; when one clicks on the topic, it comes up as a topic that does not exist. So until we can get that one fixed somehow, I'll leave this one open here..
