This might sound like sour grapes, but...
I was really disappointed to see that WotC's big send-off is focused on one event that many, many fans won't get to go to. I'm a working mom with three kids, and I can't up and go to Gen-Con, paying for airfare and lodging.

I'd much rather that some sort of "Fan Appreciation" Kit get sent to active Leagues. Most of my leisure dollars for the past 3 years at least has gone into Pokemon cards. I and all three of my kids still play and work constantly on teaching new players. Confining a Fan Appreciation gesture to one location seems, well, elitist. It's all well and good for those priviledged few, but the rest of us get left in the cold, IMHO.

Since this concerns an Organized Play event, i'll just move it down to Tournaments and Organized Play. Look for further responses there. [Tap]

I am going to re-open this thread, because there is some kind of board glitch with the copy in the Tournaments forum; when one clicks on the topic, it comes up as a topic that does not exist. So until we can get that one fixed somehow, I'll leave this one open here..
