OK...So everyone has been wanting BattleZone info.Well,I just happen to have some to soothe that thirst you have.I`ll post some of it(some you may know already).The rest can wait for later...
When is it coming out?
Well,info had it around Nov.15 but MTM said at the chat around Nov.22 it should be sent out.That means it should be in the BattleZone Leaders hands around Dec.So either way it`s coming real soon!
How will it be run?
Well,as most of us have heard,it can be ran two ways.As a Tournament session or as a League.I`ll prolly run mine as a League with some Tourneys thrown in for total fun.
Well,you haven`t told us anything we don`t know.Tell us some good things!

Well,I`ll just come out and tell you what the two promo`s are and then I`ll go into more depth.
Note:Just a reminder to everyone that this is subject to change as is with all other info.
The "Classic" Promo is...Misdreavus.That`s cool,huh?
The New Promo is .... ELECTABUZZ!That`s right!Base Set Electabuzz!Electric gets that much needed boost with this powerhouse.
This Electabuzz promo is what is newly termed "Best of Game "Winner" Promo card.Quote from the Battlezone Report I have:"Like the Base set Electabuzz included in this kit,this promo line will allow us to bring back older Pokemon cards in a new foiled version to the current Modified play environment.Look for other older cards to come back in a future season."

Along with the cool Promos,you will get several papers(for the BattleZone Leader):
•A Read me first paper:
This is the item that will give all the info needed for how to run the BattleZone League in either the League aspect or the Tournament aspect.
•The Battlezone "Frontline" Report:
This is much like the newsletter from the old Leagues in giving the GL any info needed for themselves or to pass along to the members.
•The "League Paperwork":
This explains how to(obviously) run Battlezone as a League.
The point system is the same.20 to the winner and 10 for the non winner.Also,you cannot play the same player twice in a row.Once you`ve earned 100 points,they get a classic promo.
•The "Tournament Paperwork":
This (obviously again) explains how to run it as a Tournament.
•League Score Sheet:
This is the sheet(if your BattleZone is being run as a League) that is given to each member that has you fill out you and your opponents initials for each game to keep track of your games and point totals which earn you the promos.
•BattleZone League Membership Sheet:
This is the BattleZone Leaders sheet to keep track of all the members and also keeps track of the points the members have achieved.
•1 Season Poster:
Each season will have a new colorful poster of the current promo with a place for the date and time.
Well,has that whet your appetite for now?No?OK,I`ll post one other piece of info...
There is an oversized Promo that will be included in each kit(4 if you get four kits in a month).Players have a chance to win them in the League Format.
Now,whatta ya think about that?

Is there any word yet on how we Professors can sign up for the promotion of BattleZone? Just wondering if anything about that was passed along to you as well. So far, BattleZone sounds great!

Each kit costs $5.

It should be legal to play as soon as the kit comes out that has the `Buzz in it and the `Zone starts just like any of the other promos in the past.Remember everyone,you can also play with the older versions.Good Times!

So...if we're getting Electabuzz now...does that mean there's a possibility of base Blastoise becoming playable?!

Keep in mind the obstacles to Blastoise's release are higher than those of Electabuzz (though Thunderpunch should do 40 damage to itself on tails to be properly costed-but oh well).

i have already gotten a promo electrabuzz no not the movie promo i forget where i have it thougth cause kindagot thrown into a box that got all mest up i'll try to find it

Pokesensei, I was actually talking about the program that was supposedly in the works for Professors or Master Professors to help "promote" the new BattleZone to stores who might like to take it on. I was talking about this more as a program for the Professors, not just having one store call for information. I reckon there hasn't been any new info about this yet?

That I haven`t heard anything new on.We`ll have to wait for MT Mike to chime in or when I do find anything new out,I`ll post it here asap.I do know that we will get shirts and possibly(?) promos(don`t quote me on that) as well as other stuff.It will be as Nick15 says...Good Times.
