quote: I write these things ambigiously on purpose so the meaning is not clear.
From the Merriam-Webster and Garfield dictionary: Ambiguous: Capable of being understood in more then one way.
quote: The smell of freshly ground coffee fills the air of this Seattle household. The Dark figure moves from its computer room to the Lap Top on the kitchen table. A Maple Bar on a napkin awaits a fresh cup of coffee. The other three inhabitants of this house stare curiously after devouring their morning ration of “Babel” brand dog food. Today he’s working from home.
Tell me if you think i'm crazy. the smell of freshley ground coffee means there's alot of new stuff lately. the Maple Bar could mean the players waiting for the "coffee". it could also refer to the fact that Wizards does care about it's players.

This is a general response directed at no one imparticular, but I think that as a whole, we may be making a bad role-playing error and reading to much into the "flavor" text.

"Something that we have seen yet have no seen before", surely means that there will be a japanese set in american. "Some they have seen and some they have not", means maybe a group of old cards with new cards. So I get that there will be a new set kinda like legendary and base set 2, and it will bring back old cards but will have new cards so people want more of them. Legendary and BS2 sold poorly because there was no new cards in them.

In any case, I just wanted to remind you guys that some of the previous modest proposals are in the Legendary posts section. You can test yourself out there.
Where did these get started, anyway?

An interesting proposition. Not sure what to think, though.

Until you do your homework and find out the proposal was to fatten the children up for supper. So how does that fit in with wild theories about coffee and Gengar??? (Keep in mind A Modest Proposal was political satire...) [ February 25, 2003, 05:54 PM: Message edited by: ScythKing ]

I think OS had done his homework on AMP. Otherwise, he wouldn't have made a comment about eating.

AMP is no joking matter, Pop. Have you seen the stuff I've drawn after drinking 3 of them? Too bad caffine highs don't last long, next time I should try 4 cans. Maybe I'll start seeing bicycles coming out of cracks in the walls.

I figgered that - but I also figgered it was oblique enough to go over the heads of some of the youngsters here (so I spelled it out).
