Topic: an update on the e promo at the pokemon center...

all right, anyone who talks to me much on aim *cough*sensei*cough* usually asks me 'what's going on with the e promo at the pokemon center?'. and i always say, 'i have absolutely no idea, because everyone i talk to at the store tells me something different.' which is true! but anyways, i went in yesterday and talked to someone who actually volunteered information, so i think he may know what is up with it. (and no, i'm not disrespecting the people who work there, the staff is really nice at the store. i just don't really think they're kept all that informed) this is what he told me...i have no assurance he's correct, but he seemed to know what he was talking about, and he's been at the store a while.
1) the cards are being printed specifically for the store, like the promos 40 and 41.
2) they have not received them yet.
3) i am pretty sure he said there are two cards this time as well......
4) the card will be obtainable with the nintendo power ad, as well as contests and so forth in the store (the previous promos were also given out as prizes at events in the store)
5)no word if the card will be given with a purchase at the store, or if there will be a league tie in for it.
so, that's the news on the promo at this point, i'm going back in next week and i'll ask again, and see if i can get any more concrete detail on it!

Thanks for the update, Pure.
Perhaps we can keep "Da Ladies Man" out of your hair for awhile and keep him in Virginia. We will throw him into the box with Sneasal since we had a key made for the lock. ![[ROFL]](../tcg/graemlins/roflmao.gif)

That's a bit ambiguous. Pokemon Center ad in NP, or some ad for NP?

What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.
