"Still sold out of SkyRidge packs again this week?", cried the player.
"Aye, they're out of print and we're sold out.", quoth the shop keeper.
"Well, what kind do you have?", asked the player.
"Aquapolis!"
==
Now this is our regular league, one of the last ones going and always has around 8-12 that actually buy from the store.
So, is there anyone else getting the 'SkyRidge is sold out' line or is this likely to be:
1. Something to do with ordering issues alluded to in previous weeks. 2. Something to do with the pending remodeling. 3. Something to do with why they haven't restocked (the ever popular) red vines after mentioning a warehouse store run the last couple weeks.

unavailable: Skyridge is currently unavailable from my UK distributor too. However this has happened many times in the past with other sets.
Out of Print: Probably... I'd be surprised if WotC intend another print run.
sold out: Obviously true at the local level. Not sure if the warehouses are empty.

It's getting very hard to find Skyridge anywhere. I ended up buying three of the last four packs at a second store after I had already taken a full half of the first store's stock (which was only a box...)
*wonders how there's going to be a Skyridge draft this week* Ah well...

I dunno how true it is but I heard that WotC raised the price, so the distributors pass it along and the stores get it at a cost of about $75 - $80. This is about what they used to "wholesale" it to JQ Public. Now they are having to sell it at $90 and they are getting no takers - plus they still have to MSRP the packs so they are are making very little for their space. Add to that many stores are misinformed that "Pokemon isn't going to be produced anymore" and - bottom line - they ain't buying it.

I have visited Target recently. They are advertising the new EX:R&S cards and have no intentions to release Skyridge, no doubt this is the same at many places, so where is all of those Skyridge cards? Simple Origins, Gen Con, and San Diego Comic Con. According to Scrye July 2003 there will be over 30,000 boosters to grab from the three events. A majority of these boosters are Skyridge.

No sign of Ruby/Sapphire materials (TCG) at Target, but good to hear its at yours.
No Skyridge there either. Just some Aquapolis, a few Expedition and tons of 3 for $4 LC/Jungle/Heros bubble packs. They had a chunk of 3 for $4 2Dest/1Gen bubble packs, but I thought about it overnight and came back the next day...too late!

*Looks around, has enough in stock*
Well I might as well confirm what everyone has been talking about. About a week ago my store tried to order some Skyridge and we were told they were out and would not be printing anymore.
Then in this weeks email to the store it said: quote: - Direct Sales is out of Pokemon Skyridge boosters and themes, and they are gone for good.
For those who don't know, each week the stores get an email with prices and product info. The above was in the email.

At today's chat, the MT said that it was sold out but not 'stopped producing' and that there was a distinction. When asked whether there would be more printed, the answer was don't know.
quote: master_trainer_mike presents the speaker with question #1868 from professorcfk: I've heard rumors that WotC has stoped producing Pokemon*E Sky Ridge, is this true? master_trainer_mike says, "Not true. I have heard that it is sold out, but that is not the same thing."
quote: master_trainer_mike presents the speaker with question #1874 from lance313: I don't know whether you can divulge, but most places are dry regarding Skyridge. Is more being printed? master_trainer_mike says, "I honestyly don't know."

oops...sorry mom...I didnt know urine was a bad word...
the more I look around at press releases, the more it seems liek Nintendo is being a huge pain in the but.Wizards starts the game and gets it going.Spending time and effort on game mechanics, balancing, and creative strateties. So Nintendo takes it up now seing it as a sucess.Maybe its just me...I do hope Nintendo carries on with the game well and continues to produce quality stuff, and not totaly ruin the game.i would hate to see them print a card like "SUPER AWESOME MEGA MEWTWO-700 damage-2 colorless energy-8000 HP!"
