this may be in the wrong area(didn't know where elso to post it).
with me, most of the coins i flip depend on which side i flip them from. for example, if i flip it starting with the tails up, i usually get heads. does this happen to anyone else? and are there any solutions?

You need to flip higher, to get a true randomization. Unfortunately, with enough practice, one can "learn" how to flip for the desired result with specific "lucky" coins...I've seen it all too often. Flips are supposed to be at least head-high; if you're not flipping that high, your opponent or the judge can require you to for the flip to "count".

An alternative is dice, with evens = heads and odds = tails....or electroflips. Remember that your opponent ALWAYS has the right to use YOUR randomizer in a game (though the judge can outlaw use of certain coins, such as the bas-relief plastic Lugia coin).

Hope this helps; since this isn't really TCG News, I'm going to move this down to Tournaments and League Play.
