Hi all, todays my B-day and I'm 15 now. [Smile] (Well, there goes winning more trips, but thats ok.) So how do I sign up to become a prof and take the test? I know this is kind of a dumb question, but I dont know because I didn't pay much attention to it before. Thanks.

Take the test on wizards.com/pokemon. It's a good idea to read the reference documents they give you links to first...DCI + Pokemon Floor Rulings. Otherwise if you haven't organised or judged in any tournaments, you will have problems with the DCI questions. Also, run over to Team Compendium's sight and look up rulings on fiddly things such as Metal Energy etc..good luck [Smile]

You should also take advantage of the new oracles in the website. Remember the DCI UTR, Penalty guidelines, the Poke-floor rules, the Master rulings and the advanced rulebook v.8 will all help.

Ummm... Problem. After I answered the first question there is an error and the test won't continue. This is typical for my computer, nothing online ever works. I think my cruddy computer and modem may keep me from becoming a professor. [Frown] Is there a way to take this test other than on the net?

It isn't just your computer, I haven't been able to take the test for months now because of the error on that question. I believe it is a bug with the test that needs to be fixed.

First off I extremly recommend a computer that has Java-Enabled browser. The site does require a Microsoft Internet Explorer v 5.5 or higher or a Netscape 6.0 or higher browser. I recommend a 56K modem or better and free ISPs have caused problems with the browser before.
