To all interested parties. For the Main tournaments at the WCSTS this weekend.
You will only be able to use dice that we provide, (They say Heads and Tails) or an "Electroflip" for your randomizing method.

No other coins, or dice, or "flippers" will be allowed in the Main Events.

The side Events will be able to use other randomizers.

Any questions?

DMTM, are these dice a "loaner" item, or something that all registered players will be given?

Thanks!

Does that mean we must purchase them? If not are they "loaners" like PokeMom said or are they "keepers"?

Thanks

I already have a question:

I have my $10 block of die. I will most likely use these as damage counters now.

Say I roll one out of habit? Is the flip/roll void?

They are free. You will be provided with one if you are playing in one of the main Tournaments.

Boomie since you did not use the sanctioned dice your roll would probably be void.

ACK! My bro is going to be mad. Now his giant die of destruction is banned (sort of). Hehe, for the best, I hate it when he dents my rares.

Will electroflips be on sale at the event?

Also, what about other electronic die? They sell some down here that have 6 lights. You hit the bottom and it randomly chooses 1-6.

One last question. On my Visor I have a coin flipping program, is that legal?

Only the "Electroflip" and the dice we provide will be legal. No other randomization method will be allowed.

Yes the "Electroflip" will be for sale there.

That's OK, he can still use it as a damage counter. But since it's so big, you would no longer be able to see the actual card underneath it (unless it landed on a corner or something ).

See ya,

Nice, now there won't be those stupid pikachu coins that the 11 year olds use with slowking to win all the time.... I just want to know, will that dice be more sides than a standard die (6)?? I HATE that six sided die.. I prefer 10 or higher.

Actually, there's no real way to tamper a real Electroflip. We took one apart, and the important circuitry (multivibrator, sample-and-hold, etc) is all on one single IC; the only components external to this are the switch, the LED drivers, the battery, and the LEDs themselves. You'd have to re-engineer the chip itself, which is quite impossible.

I love this decision. I'm sure there'll be lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth about it from those who have sprung paper coins, loads of practice-time on their 'lucky' coin, or a certain 'lucky' die they use. To those people, I say...PPPPPPBBBBBBLLLTTTTTT!!!!!

If you're smart enough to rig an electroflip, and rig it well enough so that no one notices.... IMHO you deserve the win... j/k

I have a question about the dice. Will they come in different colors or is it like a regular dice (Black & White)? I would prefer to get orange dice, that's my favorite color. If not, I'll always have my Orange Electroflip . Oh, also, how long will my Electroflip last (approximately)?

I have seen rigged Electro flips may I refuse to play with and let my opponent use one!

I like the Idea of the dice but the Electro Flips should not be allowed.

Hmm what will the penalty for a rigged Electro flip be!

Two points:
You are not alone. Last week I bought 5 red die for Mrs. Bulbasnore's fire deck, 5 purple die for Little Miss Bulbasnore's psy deck, 5 speckled granite die for young Mr. Bulbasnore's shapeshifting deck, and 5 blue/green die for Ms. Bulbasnore's water deck and lastly 5 cloudy purple die so that I may shout "Hurricane Punch" as I slam 4 of them down with my folding leather dice cup! After searching out all those die, tipping the heavy 5 gallon goldfish bowl from side to side for 20 minutes, I could barely deal my cards (don't say it!) Oh well, they still make nice color coordinated damage counters -- not that we'll need them ;-).

Yahoo, another freebie!. In an event full of free, I now get free stuff. My only sorrow is that I probably won't be able to get 4 so I may shout "Hurricane Punch" as I slam 4 of them down in my folding leather dice cup. Then again, I might not use Sir Flip Alot.

Some may take offense to my comments and want to punch my ticket. If so, you'll recognize me as the only 15+ trainer from the Moreno Valley -- I'll be wearing Cheno's.

Rofl how about a coin big enough to cover a card on its side?

Man this is great news... Finally I wont have to worry about dice hating me hmm though this may be bad news for ipgeeks younger version...

Like the very astute Lugia has said they are not riggable. We have tested them. Sorry Jeremy but you will have to show me one that is "rigged" first.

Even if they were they would only flip All heads or all Tails in any case which is easy to disqualify.

Dice sre six sided white with Heads and Tails printed on them in Red and Green...tis the season..
