Hey,
I was just kind of curious, Did WOTC come up with the idea for a team verison of Pokemon TCG, or did our Foreign friends(Japan) come up with it first??

Variations of the team game have been played long before WotC came up with the official TMP.
It would be really hard to say where and when it started.
BTW, does this topic REALLY belong here?

I think CM was thinking of just asking the Professors,but it definately can be in the TCG Forum.

How about a World Cup type of team play. Here's how it could work:
- You make a team of 3 players
- Each team plays each other team in swiss rounds
- Three players on one team play individual matches against the other team's players
-- Flip a coin to see which team gets to determine the first individual pairing
-- The next individual pairing is determined by the other team
- The team wins/loses/ties based upon the outcome of the individual matches
Just a thought.
