Please pardon me if this is the wrong area, or even if this isn't allowed. If not, feel free to move or lock as you will.
Anyway, after doing a little research on the remaining Pokemon of the first 200 NOT in a set, I came up with 64. Also, according to Pokemon Aaah, there are two more sets after this -- "Dual" and something to do with Ancient Pokemon (corrections welcome on this). So, I did a little projecting and split them in two. 32 new Pokemon per set, with 15ish introduced in other sets and 5ish Trainers.
"Dual" (32): Surskit/Masquerain (2) Zubat Family (3) Tentacool Family (2) Medicham (1) Doduo/Dodrio (2) Oddish Family (4) Staryu/Starmie (2) Banette (1) Tropius (1) Pinsir (1) Heracross (1) Rhyhorn/Rhydon (2) Clamperl/Huntail-Gorebyss (3) Relicanth (1) Corsola (1) Chinchou/Lanturn (2) Beldum/Metang/Metagross (3)
Dual involves Pokemon that have, as the name suggests, dual types (e.g. Water/Dark, Fighting/Psychic). A few didn't fit the idea, like Pinsir (G), Heracross (G), Doduo/Dodrio (C), etc. But a Grass theme seemed to fit there, overall. Centerpieces...Metagross and Tropius.
Ancient Whatever (32): Abra Family (3) Whismur/Loudred/Exploud (3) Machop Family (3) Voltorb/Electrode (2) Gulpin/Swalot (2) Spinda (1) Claydol (1) Igglybuff Family (3) Feebas/Milotic (2) Castform (1) Chimecho (1) Vulpix/Ninetales (2) Glalie (1) Spheal/Sealeo/Walrein (3) Luvdisk (1) The Regis (3)
For the Ancient theme, I took the idea that it was near the ice/water (or was "mystical"), and centered around the three Regis - Ice, Steel, and Rock. Hence, Psychic and Water type Pokemon.
So, is this a crazy notion, am I way off base in my thinking, or does this idea seem plausible? Hope it was at least entertaining to read. [ June 27, 2003, 11:41 AM: Message edited by: 0bserver ]

Well, remember. ADV/EX sets have pokémon not in RS too. ADV1 has Lapras EX, Magmar EX, Chansey EX, Sneasel EX, Scyther EX, etc. ADV2 has Cyndaquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion EX ADV3 has Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos EX, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite EX.
Now, if you were just dividing the remaining RS Pokémon, then you're guess is as good as mine (meaning, it's not a crazy notion ). There will probably be an extra couple cards in there of other pokémon, but they'll probably relate to an EX (Cyndaquil is only in ADV2 because of Typhlosion EX).

Yeah, duly noted. I didn't clarify the "15ish" well. Any given ADV set will have around 53 cards:
32 New Pokemon 16 "Other" Pokemon, incl. EX, >#200, and previous ADV Pokemon 5 Trainers
Something like that.

Eh, I guess I'm the only one who likes to do this kind of projecting...?
