Yes, regime change is upon us. Here is the latest from Nintendo regarding its upcoming release:

quote:
Attention Pokémon Fans!
To gear up for the release of Pokémon-e TCG: EX Ruby & Sapphire, we'll be revealing a new trading card every day for 10 straight days! Beginning June 9, check this site every day to feast your eyes on a new card. The final card will be revealed on June 18 -- the same day Pokémon-e TCG: EX Ruby & Sapphire hits store shelves.

As WotC has sometimes done, Nintendo will soon be revealing a card each day. More information is available at: http://www.pokemon-tcg.com/

Why wait? HERE's an auction for a Kyogre promo card.... Has the Black Star and everything.

And judging from the text...poor templating will still happen....

Error on the Kyogre ex card. The attack is supposed to say:

"Discard 1 WATER Energy attached to Kyogre ex. This attack does 10 damage to....."

And not just "Does 10 damage". Heh.

Yes, the card is real. Three of my league members have one already. They came in a magazine (oddly enough, the kids who own them can't remember the name of the magazine!)

Won't it be fun when these turn up in decks at DCI-sanctioned events?

I have the wording of each card here somewhere, I may post it later, but otherwise check out Scrye, they're gonna have SO much stuff in the next few issues. [Smile] [Wink]

Scrye? Scrye? Oh, Scrye, the magazine that doesn't even have a Pokémon Price guide anymore. That Scrye. Looks like i'll be picking up copies of the July issue to get the Kyogre EX promo.

awesome scan! i was confunded by this (it's below the weakness): NDL-S2D-EEJ
ő_Ó

and it's written below the image: "When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards."
shouldn't it say "when [u]a[/u] Pokémon-ex .."? i have no idea why they just didn't write "When Kyogre ex has been Knocket Out .. .." ..

Of course if Fossil Ditto is asleep and facing an EX pokemon when Ditto is knocked out then thats only one prize.

Might I also note that on the Pokemon-tcg.com page that they seem to be still continuing to accept apps for the T.O.s My guess is that they are looking to fill any geographic gaps.

In Canada, you could find Scrye in Chapters. Indigo may also have this.

If you are in Toronto, you can buy this in Silver Snail (Queen W and John)

I go to Chapters (Richmaond and John) and Silver Snail yeaterday, they only have June issue.

I will check again today.

I just bought #60 (June) off the newsstand yesterday, so that would make July #61, right?

BTW, are all newsstand copies going to include the promos, or just direct sales (subscription) copies???

TIA!

Hey, to answer all those questions.. Since I am just a writer, I'm not in any office or anything, all I know is what I see in my copies and what the editors tell me. As far as I know, and have seen so far, all free inserts are avaliable in both subscriptions AND when you buy the magazines in a shop.. So.. yeah, I'd expect you'd get the promos at a normal news stand, as long as it has its polybag still on it. As far as which issue is which, I believe #61 is July, yeah, check it out, it has my Gen Con Europe article in it.. [Wink]
