It is very sad to see that a recent site has been destroyed by the actions of a very few people.

Even more disturbing to me is what the consequences of these impersonations could have on those people and the community as a whole.

Those of you that were duped responded in some rather alarming and hurtful manners to us dupee's.
I'm a little surprised that some of you who I know would actually think I would respond in the fashion I did. But it is obviously what they intended.

Impersonating other people online is a very dangerous business folks. It can lead to some very severe consequences. I would encourage all of you to take a very close look at what damage can be done to people on a personal and professional level when people do this.

I know most of you are mature enough to know where the lines are. This site is the way it is because of these lines and what can happen if they are crossed.

No one has to agree with anyone else’s opinion about the game or how it is run. But there are laws about how people can talk to one another about these issues. Mocking people and insulting them is a dangerous road. Legal action can be taken in some of these cases, if you are a minor it can be taken up with your parents.

I just want to make sure you all have an opportunity to understand how serious things can get, and that some things cross lines you do not want to cross. I don't want to see it happening to any of you and I want us to be a community.

I'm not even mad about the whole thing, I'm sad. Sad that things may happen that I have no control over, because people do not realize the consequences of their actions. Or worse yet, are so hateful that they don't care.

The game needs us all. Please do not allow our differences to harm that game.

As a side I do not want to see any responses to this that name names of any kind. I did not intend this post as any sort of finger pointing. Lets just get back to the game we all love.

And on a little side note, (I don't want to say too much) If you know anything about the situation, or about the people involved, do the right thing, don't support that kind of behavior. The game doesn't need that. [NoNoNo]

What happened with these impersanations was extremely sad and i think it will hurt this game just a bit. I dont know whether these actions may have been in a jokeful manner or just to be flat out mean but i have to say that the parties responsible made and horrible move and that action is going to be taken whether or not the community wants it to be taken or not.

I've heard a bit o the details of this misfortune. I think all the people involved were "shocked" and this was a wake up call for them. I think they have all learned their lesson and I think we should move on. I'm sure anyone else thinking of pulling off this stunt has stopped and won't even try it.

So again, let's just move on and have fun playing the game we love to play, Pokémon.
