Sauron, DMTM gave us current information that he has worked his tail off.
Some gym members have kindly found DMTM another one.
Which we all expect to be put to the grindstone immediately.

Not the Mods. Me. They are not going to tell me I'm off topic.
Hey it is my post. If people do not want to respond to what I'm saying I can't do anything about it. I was trying to have a little fun since no one wants to talk about why less information is coming out.
Although you all seem to think there is more, but that is probably because it is part of my full time job now as opposed to being a side gig. So I'm more attentive about the lack of things I have to say.
Hey, I work with what I have and it looks like this post of mine did not get the response I thought it would.
In general you are right Sauron, but...
I'm the only one allowed to get off topic on my own posts, or allow people to do so on my own posts. I'm the Admin. I'm the one who worked my tail off to bring it here so I do get some latitude that you do not as the Admin.
The difference is I'm always who I'am. I never get to step out of my role. So I will take some liberties in the name of fun, and I will allow some things I post to get off topic if I so desire. It is how I keep sane. It is the only time you get the chance to be off topic on these boards. And yes it is on my whim. But I take good care of my whims, if it was a serious discussion then I would clamp down.
I will alo do my best to bring you information as soon as I can.
I will also sometimes post things that seem irrelevant or not "News Worthy", but there is a method to my maddness.

Thanks MTs for working your tails off (of course you may be laughing your tails off as well for as far I as know). I am sure there will be info on Challenge Series and more on Aquapolis and Battlezone soon enough.
For me, as a Professor, its hard to keep the league I attend updated especially with Battlezone coming and all is not easy. Not to mention researching info on the Ruby and Saffire games, Advance Generation, and so much more. So I really don't think that the events of Pokemon TCG and the Pokemon world overall is stalled right now.
I really am looking forward to Challenge Series the most. Ever since Worlds, I promised myself that in one way or another I would attend all Stadium Challenges, Origins, and Worlds somehow. Anyhow, keep up the good work MTs.

I think I said what the reasons were, but I will explain... hmm too long I will sum up!
There is not an information blackout.
The information coming out has just been slowed.
Much of the information that is posted, said or goes up on the site goes through MTM or myself one way or another. Sometimes that information is not 100%, but we want to give you the notice. Pointing to information like that as a sign of impending doom does not help the game. It in fact it hurt it.
I have always been an advocate of getting you as much time to prepare for upcoming events or programs as possible.
Unfortunately a certain post has destroyed that edge for me now.
We just need to make sure it is all set in stone before we post it now.
This has been mitigated by the fact that we are much more involved in Pokémon then before. So we are working to do new things and getting things out as soon as possible.
Additionally there are things that you are asking about that we cannot talk about right now. Hence the silence on certain subjects.
That about covers it.

Is it just me or did that sound..."malicious"? Just because you got a stick up your butt doesn't mean you have to go making fun of WotC employees' catch phrases. Forgive me if I'm interpreting that wrong but it doesn't exactly read like a compliment

Now let's not get into a flame war here when in the abscence of information we were having a bit of fun.. something I have been missing these last few months...
No really I have been challenged in the laughter department..
So getting beack to the serious fun it seems having found a tail we now need a butt too.
I suggest that you may want to visit the following site:
Rear of the year website
don't panic it's all clothed and just a bit of english fun
here's an example rear of the year..
It's Graham Norton; a camp TV presenter on UK's channel 4.. perhaps DMTM would appreciate a rear in that style?

Heh, Martin...
For a guy who trumpeted the fact that he was quitting the game for Yu-Gi-Oh you sure seem to be keenly interested.
DMTM: OK... I understand that. We all appreciate what you do for the game immensely. The delegate program is a great idea! I'm going to go at it full-bore.
The tough sell is this: when I talk with people who left the game a while ago, they say quote: Pokémon? That game is so dead. I might get back into it, but why would I want to play Pokémon when there are tons of tournaments for *insert game here* and none for Pokémon?!
These are mostly players aged 14-18, though. A 15-18 division would unlock a big market. Players would spring out of the woodwork, and buy cards to catch up. But, I digress...
I am running my own tournaments, and that helps, but it is not the same as being able to point to an upcoming Challenge Series and talk it up.
We need all the info we can get to help you sell this game. Posts such as the one you refer to are precipitated by a lack of reliable information. I know you tell us all you can... I just wish your overseers would allow you to tell us more.

LOTC: It may have been a digression, but it is a topic that would be good to discuss rationally and positively. I think just about every player on these boards agrees that having a 15+ division (15-18, maybe?) would be a "good thing". What we need to avoid is a long thread of rants about how it sucks not to have one (we've had plenty of those topics), but rather a good presentation of how it would be good for WotC's business bottom line to reinstate it.
Please feel free to start such a thread. I think you could get it off on the right foot.

Did I quit Pokemon? Yes. I havent even played an IRL game since the WCSC.
Did I say I quit Wizpog? No. I actually don't wanna see Pokemon go away regardless. Yugioh just struck the final straw with me when the Judge's Ruling contradicted the actual UD FAQ and lost me the tourney. Im sick of it. This kind of makes you miss the compendium...

I agree. LOTC's post was the first coherent, lucid and thoughtful remark I'v read in many moons. Now if others could keep in that vein I believe it would go a long way to actually making a point with the powers that be. I think everyone wants 15+. Way too much talent to go unrecognized and unrewarded. But they need to understand that the need for 15+ should be presented as directly tied to the business needs of Hasbro/WotC - not as "you owe me". Maybe if we had a good count of the 15+ crowd we can start from there. Maybe a "rollcall" on the order of what was done for the Professors - which BTW are 15+. Get some numbers to throw at the management. Maybe a post to a thread stating how many cards you purchase to compete in the game, whether or not you collect, Professor status, kids that you may have, whether or not you GL - stuff that translates to $$$. I'll start the post.

Now I'm liking this, the 15+ thing that is. It would be very good for sure. The only potential problem is that professors would forego helping out at events to play in the 15+ division. But the thing is, that isn't really a big problem, because the dedicated professors who actually DO things to help with the game or who want to but can't WILL put helping out first. Only the ones who don't or won't help will be slacking I hope to join the list of helpful professors soon by running battlezone at a local store. I still havn't convinced the manager yet though so cross your fingers
OMG! Graham Norton? C'mon, don't insult DMTM like that! (j/k). I guess he's not THAT bad but still.....how do I put this? Let's just say somehow I doubt DMTM swings the same way as Graham Norton oh jeez, roflmao... (remember ladies, I did just spend the last year in the UK)

DMTM, I have a few honest questions for you.
- Ok first off, will there be any change in the 15+ division?
- Are sales dropping for Pokemon rapidly in recent months?
- Are we the 1% we're told we are?
- What have you guys recognized the problem to be?
- Is Yu-Gi-Oh really a problem for Pokemon? (Because if an idiotic game that totally rips Pokemon AND Magic becomes a fad, god help us all.)
- How is the license coming?
I know you can't answer all of them, but please answer as many as possible. Thanks!

I have "heard" that LC and Expedition have both sold better than expected and I know that LC sold out and might have gone back for another printing. So, how those sales compare with other sets, I can't say. I'm sure that it's less than, say, Jungle sold, but it seems to be in a healthy place.

It's bad business to tell customers that you don't care about them. I think I'll leave my money in dollar form, instead of useless-card form, atleast until they have any support for the game (especially for 15+). It's things like this that make me wonder if they want to kill the game, or just milk everything possible before trashing it.
