I just heard from a very reliable source that Best Promo #9 will be a Reverse Holo version (similar to the Electabuzz we saw earlier) of Ditto, from the Fossil Expansion.
It has the same card design as its Fossil version, but with a small "Best" symbol instead of the Fossil expansion symbol, and the letters "Best" written over the art.
I really don't know what to say about this one. It's very... surprising! ![[Embarrassed]](../tcg/redface.gif) I guess Ditto won't be as broken as in Unlimited, with the lack of Sneasel and Rocket's Zapdos. But Ditto could still be good versus some Pokémon in today's Modified format.

Ditto's not "broken" per se, it's just a Judging nightmare. I really doubt that they'd reprint it.

I remember for the most of the past year, I had considered making an April Fools joke about a "WizPoG Dental Plan". Eventually I decided that it was dumb, but oh well.

Seriously though, that was mean...telling everyone else that Ditto was coming back would be like telling me that all remaining DCI events (GenCon, Origins) would all be Unlimited format (Hey, I can dream, can't I? Maybe that will happen with Nintendo's rule of the game...)

What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.
