This sucks. Why can't we get the cards Japan got for their ADV set? Instead we get some cheap peices of paper :/

in Japan, those cards were made available via McDonalds, which I believe has refused to deal with Pokemon here in the states.

Really? I've only seen (and gotten) actual game cards, i've never seen those cards up on eBay. But i like Wendy's better than McD's anyways (and so don't my boys). Actually the "cards" look like they are a permanent part of the toy - you'd have to break the toy to get the card apart from it.

Would've been nice to get the Japanese McD promos though (at Wendy's instead of McDonald's), either sets would've been fine.

i didn't understand it.. these cards, are they like some useless stickers, or will they be playable together with the cards from wotc? at least the stuff shown here (http://www.pokemon.com/News/01000396.asp) didn't look cool.

are these cards "tcg-related" or not..?
