Well it looks like we could be on for a 4 day Pokefest at UK GenCon and a Prof Challenge to end it all.

WotC UK are have asked us UK Profs for help running events at UK GenCon and are looking to run a Prof only event at the end too ...this is very good news for us if we can get it up and running.

Wow the future of OP in the UK looks bright ... now where did I put those PokeShades [Wink]

Michel,

the dates are 29th, 30th and 31st August and the 1st September. That's Thursday through to and including Sunday... are you planning another cross channel raid [Wink]

Laetitia's deck seems to have spawned some clones judging from the one that beat me wednesday night!

Tickets all booked and sorted...I'm sharing with FreddyK, Michel and a Mysterious other that we need to find to split the room cost with! I don't mind our place being a playtesting haven...it's in the hotel where the wizards ppl are staying, so that could be cool. Being the youngest means that my opinion may not necessarily count tho... [Bored] lol. We'll be getting in bright and early Saturday morning, and off on Monday afternoon. teCHed up magcargo for me prob...although I'm tweaking a fun Dark Crobat at the moment, dunno if it's tourney viable tho. Good luck with the Prof test psyduck..hope you get some nice q's like i did ! [Smile]

We need one more person to share our room of 4 in the hotel that WotC are going to be in... any offers?

s_b - no need for the cards I asked, I opened that box of Gym Heroes up to get them out. Magcargo is just toooo too weak against Pichu, if it can somehow get around that then it's unstoppable at times.

Ukpokemonpro : sure we'll come to the GenCon if we are in Europe [Wink]

A winning deck is always copied, and it's interesting if people can improve it. But I think it will have to be adapted with the LC set.

Room is booked for Amsterdam ... I may not forget to reserve my train ticket [Confused]
I'll ask to Harlan too if sharing a room with us could interess him ...

Yep WotC UK are keen to work with us, maybe we can start to show the rest of Europe what Professorship is really about.

Hey Mazzie,

glad we met at the London Gym Challenge, if you think GenCon during the day is gonna be good imagine what it will be like in the Hotel later..

I know I keep missing my chance to play Freddy and the Drafting will be fierce!!

Bring your brain coz yuo'll need it!

This is a great chance for us to Promote Pokemon and Professorship at a Games convention that last year said we were not welcome.. wrong audience they said [NoNoNo]

Well this year we can show them just what we can do and I guarantee some of the MtG crowd will be over I have played many of the local crowd at MtG tourneys before.

SO London in late August .... the action will switch from the Colonies back Home!

I'll arrive Amsterdam Friday evening, Steven and Pablo will a little earlier. And some of you'll come early Saturday. But anyway, that means we can all meet Saturday afternoon! Here's a list of the people that should be able to meet up at our Team Europe Meeting:

TE MEETING, SATURDAY JUNE 8
AMSTERDAM

1. Golduck
2. Super Psyduck
3. Pablo
4. Sentimental 'Toise
5. Freddy K
6. Michel
7. SauroN
8. Stoney
9. Whatever
10. Jean Marc Schosse?
11. Harlan?
12. BigCaterpie?
13. Veghetto?
14. Daniel Stern?
15. Dumbledore?

This will be cooler than any TE chat! Apart from some cool "meetings" we've had before (I'll never forget Göteborg) this will be our first real TE meeting. And I have some special TE stuff I'm preparing for Amsterdam too... just wait and see...

I propose a meeting of all the TE members at the Inntel hotel on Saturday.
4 of us, and the Wizards staff will stay at this hotel and it's close to the Central station and the Beurs van Berlage.

It will probably be possible to find space there to play too.

Info and map are on the Inntel hotel website : www.inntel.nl ... choose Amsterdam and, if you want to find the map, click on 'Routebeschrijving'.

Any other idea ?
