That Mewtwo only has 4 differences from the Promo Mewtwo: it's an EX, it has 30 more HP, retreat cost is one more, and its Psyburn does 20 more damage. Other than that, it's the same card.

I'm sure that justifies the overpowering of ex pokemon now (it is currently doing that in my mind), but i think when it comes time to battle them our opinions will change.

Once an EX Pokemon gets running, the game will be over quickly. I don't think the downside (two prizes) compensates. Another example of TPC's lack of playtesting, I would bet.
As for the Phanphy question above: It refers to a new feature of Pokemon ADV; you can have two Actives per player. You only have 4 on the Bench, then.

Change TPC to WotC and the Game to MtG and it's the same.. Wizards are not perfect people either .. the game of Pokemon and the broken combo's are about to change .. and that's good.

Electric pokemon resistant to Metal! Tyrogue or not, electric could make a comeback just from that. Check out Ex Electabuzz in the spoiler.

We'll find out soon enough. Me personally, I think because every type (besides metal) has an EX type, it'll even out.
----
Pokemon on the bench can't be Paralyzed, or can they now?
It's worded in a way that takes into account Japan's own Team Multiplayer rules. As there are two Actives in TMP, attacks in EX1 take that into account.
-----
Will the Ex Ruby & Sapphire set be a combination of ADV 1 and the 3 preconstucted decks?
Yup. There was only 55 cards in the "base" ADV1 set in Japan and 45 original cards in all of the 3 Starter Decks. That's 100 cards, plus 8 energy (6 basic, Metal and Darkness), and... uhm... 1 more card, making a total of 109 for the US of A and Canadia.
-----
I'm just glad that these cards are actually GOOD over the wall-to-wall crap fest from the past few sets.

Agreed. Electic should make a comeback with all the Steelix decks around (lest I'm mistaken).

Opps! Didn't know that some of the images were getting cut off or not showing. It had something to do with the alignments. Strange that it showed just fine on my browser though.
But anyways... I fixed them and they should be just fine now. [ June 07, 2003, 08:51 PM: Message edited by: GreatFox ]
