How about Imakuni? cards?
Or even, a smaller, less broken version of the Legendary Birds card!
(or a Genesis Sneasel revision)
Most likely, they could bring back Slowking, but ONLY played the way it was supposed to be in Japan, when it was Active Mind Games would work, 4 Slowking on the bench were not supposed to have that effect.

I would love to see the Unown R card so we can finish our Unown sets. Also I think a card like The Cheese Stands Alone from the Unglued Magic sets. That would be a fun card to play with. here are the cards that i miss the most.
Dark vileplume
dark machamp
rockets zappy (this could really boost electric again)
clefable
aerodactyl (fossil)
and the most of all
CHAOS GYM! (please bring it back )
of all these, i miss my trainer denial the most. i really enjoyed playing all these decks. they were not the strongest decks. but they seemed to win. even if they didnt win, they caused quite a headache for my opponent. that was fun for me.

I'd like to see a trainer card that lets you (for one turn) ignore all baby-rules (including flip) and baby pokemon powers on your opponents active baby.
maybe it could be worded like "treat your opponents active baby as a basic pokemon for this turn only".
I think that it would level the playing field a little bit and take some of the importance off the baby phenomenon.

A wish list is fun to make...
but reliable sources say that the work on the WotC set was finished some time ago.
I'm positive that nothing said in this post will have any effect on what ends up in that set.
Vending would be nice though!

Even supposing Wizards R&D would read this post, the set would be right AFTER Skyridge. A few months is not nearly enough for set creation (I should know).

Think what it would do for Moltres decks. Just use Recharge Typlosion, Warm Up Light Flareon, and since no damage is being done, you dont discard. Elekid from the bench as well.

A tool that would protcet energy would be nice, similar to what Brock's Pokemon already have. Someone usually chimes in on howm much worse that will mak Sneasel when I comment on that, so I'll be pre-emptive and point out that if its a Poketool, then Sneasel has no Focus Band: a 60HP Basic with no Focus Band. It would mostly be nice for big Evos that require several energy cards anyway. How about SER 3, which finally strikes the proper balance for Modified by being worderd exactly like the original SER... but is a Supporter. I think it would be usable but balanced. Same for GoW (for the niche decks that have several beig retreaters and thus must otherwise run a Switch for each GoW and only dare to use them together)-make it a Supporter. Trainers that could be played during you opponent's turn (and perhaps only your opponent's turn) would be nice...

At the end of each player's turn, that player flips a coin, if tails his or her active pokemon is now asleep.
Just imagine that in a jungle Snorlax deck...
I would also want Imakuni? and Imakuni's Doduo (unplayable) promos, a weaker Sneasel (that guy was way too powerful, in Unlimited almost any deck had Sneasel)... and more Ditto, it would be fun to see what Wizards would come up for it...
Ditto 50 HP
Poké-power(Copycat) Once during your turn, you may use this power. Ditto is treated as a copy of the Defending pokemon until the end of the game. This power stops working as long as you aren't mimicing your opponent.
(C)-Copy- If Ditto was attacked last turn, do the result of that attack on Ditto to your active pokemon, if your oponnent didn't attacked Ditto last turn, Ditto does 40 damage to itself. ?

Here are some ideas I have had locked away for a little while
Darkness Gym (Stadium Card)
If your Active Pokemon is a Baby Pokemon and the Defending Pokemon is Dark or has Dark in its name, your Active Pokemon can’t attack or retreat.
Blacksmith’s Shop (Stadium Card)
Once during your turn, if the defending Pokemon has any Metal Energy cards attached to it, flip a coin. If heads, discard a Metal Energy card. If tails, your opponent may shuffle an energy card from his or her discard pile into his or her deck.
Psychic Temple (Stadium Card)
Once during your turn, if your active Pokemon is Psychic type, you may look at your opponent’s hand. Then, flip a coin. If heads, he or she shuffles his or hand into their deck and draws 4 cards. If tails, your turn is over.
Lost Hope (Pokemon Tool)
Attach this to your Active Pokemon if it has 20HP or less remaining. If it gets knocked out during your next turn, return it and all cards attached to it, (excluding this one), to your hand. This Pokemon is knocked out and your opponent draws 2 Prizes instead of 1.

Crystal Eevee (Basic Pokemon)
Colorless
Poke- Body
Whenever an energy card is attached to Eevee, it becomes that type for the remainder of the game. Eevee can only be one type (color) at a time and the type (color) must be declared before attacking. This Body is not effected by special conditions or other Pokemon Powers.
CC Evolutionary Light. Flip a coin. If heads you may evolve Eevee to the same type (color) that Eevee has been declared. If tails, the defending Pokemon is confused and cannot retreat on your opponent’s next turn, including effects by trainer cards. 10
Weakness None
Resistance None
Retreat None
And last but not least, it would be nice to have Basic Dark and Metal Energy cards without the added text. It would open up more deck ideas.

Stage 2 Psychic Pokemon (But he likes to be referred to as the "Ghost" type...)
75 & 1/2 HP
PPPP: Key to the Box...
Effect: Flip a coin. If heads, search your Deck for a card with Sneasel or Slowking in it's name and put it on your bench. (If your bench is full, get rid of one of those dang Cleffas!!!) Then flip another coin. If that coin is tails, Sneasel/Slowking does 74 & 3/4 damage to Gengar for no good reason.
Weakness: His Shadow
Resistance: Female Gengars
Retreat Cost: It depends on the amount of Maple Bars forced down his throat over the past 3-4 Months.
MTM's Weedle
Basic Grass Pokemon
30HP
C: Squirm Around: 10x
Effect: If your opponent has any Pokemon with Misty in it's name on his or her bench, flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads to each of those Pokemon (Including the Defending Pokemon.). Don't apply weakness and resistance for benched Pokemon.
Weakness: Tires and peopels feet
Resistance: Misty's Pokemon
Retreat Cost: Whatever your cab fare is from the trip from the areana back to the trainers's Ball.
Needless to say, I don't think these will be put into play anytime soon.
