Perhaps we should ask is the Pokegym too ill to survive moving house elsewhere?
There seems to be a general malaise and lack of posting on this board that may well be just due to it winding down before transfering elsewhere?
But if my online medical dictionary is right a Malaise is :
quote: A generalized feeling of discomfort, illness, uneasiness, or lack of well-being that is often associated with a disease state.
And I get a feeling that is what we have here, on the PokeGym.. moderators being really strict, no sniping here guys and gals just saying what I feel, new posts few and far between and a lethargy, fatigue and general ill feeling that accompany a Malaise.
Nothing I have read in the last month has given me a WOW feeling here on the boards and that is sad
Perhaps it's just the record high temp here in the UK combined with the inevitable disruption of our transport system that always accompanies any change in weather... but I think not ...
The board feels ill to me ... or perhaps I just feel ill to the board? I am struggling here but please bear with me..
Anyhow just wondered if anyone else feels the same or different and why?
Has the board suffered, was not moving a mistake? Have I gone mad? (No don't answer that one I think I know the answer )

It is winding down here. I think that is what you see. It is as I expected. A lull as it transfers from one place to another, much the same as the game will do I expect.
Not sure I would call it a disease. Seems too strong. Perhaps a light cold and stuffy feeling as people wonder what is next and how that will look.
You are in between worlds, some transfer time is to be expected. I think some have gone into Cryrogenic freeze while the distance is covered.

It won't dampen what TC & onderland are doing =/
There is still a community. It existed BEFORE WotC's version and it will exist AFTERWARDS. *sniff, no WotC MT's?*
Strict Mods? Don't know whether that is a compliment or an insult

DMTM is right, it's a lull.
But not just from the Wizards-to-Nintendo shift, but the post-major tournament lull that we've seen after every major event.
Remember how slow things got after the NJ STS in 2000? Same after Worlds last year.
It will be ok. The best thing for this is the release of a new seÿÿÿÿd that's happening in September.

People aren't posting here anymore because they consider this board dead. When the new board arrives, give it some weeks (or months) to settle down, and I'm sure we'll have an active community again.

All I can and will say is that the board WILL live on, and hopefully at full strength.
mysterioustrainer: yes, the board is going independent again.
