12-4 is fine for the weekends but it'll be hard for those of us not on vacation to make it to TRU during the weekday.

Too bad it's at Waterford CT on the 26th and North Attleboro MA on the 28th.. guess they'll spend the 27th driving past the Warwick RI TRU....

I wonder if these will be the Toys R Us that will be holding the leagues this coming fall. The one at Bailey Crossroads, VA was OK about 3 years ago. Then, a new women took over the league and was real mean to kids. People stop going. :-( [Frown]

Does it seem kinda stupid to anyone else that there are 126 stores nationwide doing this, but 65(over half of them) are in a total of 6 states,
There's an average of 10.83 stores in those 6 states [Dropjaw] [NoNoNo] , and an average of 2.178 stores in the other 28 states getting this promotion.
34 states get this, perhaps they should have cut down on the 17 locations in CA, the 12 in PA, and the 10 in Texas, and maybe spread the wealth a little better, I garuntee they make a lot more costumers if they would spread it out more evenly. This post is just IMO of course.

A lot of it has to do with the number of medium-to-large metro areas in each state though I'm at a loss to explain why there are more stops in PA than TX.

I went into TRU the other day to specifically ask about plans. I was fishing for allowing them to put up posters for the upcoming Nintendo events (if my proposal is accepted). They have no official word from corp hq on anything about Pokemon. So I dunno if what we've heard is rumor or still in some sort of negotiation.

I can't drive either. So I'm trying to convince my parents to drive me there. Thats why I'm looking into exact details about the event location. Also, I am the same Team Rocket Elite from Pojo. I also frequent GameFAQs and my occational appearences at PokéMasters, Azure Heights, Project: Metronome and the PokéGym Communtiy Board. I'm not sure if you get to keep the Eon Ticket for yourself.

Well, it would seem to be that the Eon Ticket will be a download (a la Pokémon Center New York). Read the entire article, because that's what it suggests.

Yes, I know. But I got the feeling some people thought that it might've been a Card-e (I can understand the confusion. Nintendo put up scans of the Card-e on their website. Meh.).

I headed over to the Tacoma, WA Toys R Us today and checked out the EON Ticket Summer Tour stop.

First to clear up any confusion, you get BOTH EON tickets! Yep, they download the ticket onto your game - but they also give out the EON ticket cards!

The entire thing was pretty cool, even though I was only able to stop by, get my ticket, and go.

The Pikachu Bug was parked in front of the store, with a red canopy set up by the entrance/exit to the store. Under that canopy was a table where 2 kids were playing cards (there was a playmat for the card playing) and another person was standing by with their GameBoy Advance watching.

Next to that was another table with lots of Pokemon goodies. The tour person was standing behind this table and I asked him about the EON ticket. He explained everything to me and he sent the EON ticket into my game. He then handed me the EON Ticket card, in case I ever needed it.

He then told me to pick some of the Pokemon goodies from the table. There were different figures, posters, and pins there. Two girls were picking out some figures. I picked up a Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire poster and the Gold set of Pokemon Pins that were released back with Pokemon Gold/Silver. (The package came with a Ho-oh pin, a Pikachu pin, and a Togepi pin.)

It was pretty cool! So if the tour is stopping near you, I would definitely check it out!

I just came back from Tacoma a few hours ago. I arrived at about 12:00. If you were wondering who I was, I was the person wearing a Suicune T-shirt with a piece of paper with the PokéGym logo on it taped to my back. I was there with my two brothers. My younger brother was wearing a grey Pokémon shirt adn blue shorts, my older brother was wearing a grey T-shirt and had a Pokéball attached to his pants. The two people there basicly had a small red canopy set up and the Pikachu car beside it. They had a few GBAs with Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, an E-Reader with Eon Ticket plus Game Link and a place to play TCG. They also had a table where they gave away free Pokémon toys, Pokémon posters and Pokémon pins. The first thing I did when I got there was get the Eon Ticket downloaded into my game(and also got the real Eon Ticket), picked up a free Pokémon toy(I got a Scizor, my older brother got a Psyduck and an Articuno), a free poster and a free pin. Then I just hung around the place for about an hour before going for lunch. After lunch I came back. I found out that they had pre-made decks that you could use for TCG. So I played a few games with my younger brother. Most people just came in and out just to pick up an Eon Ticket and the free Pokémon merchandice. I had fun talking to the various Pokémon fans who came in and out of the place. Near the end they were starting to run out of Pokémon toys and eventually the last one was given away(a Slowking, if you were wondering). They had a few hundred excess Eon Tickets at the end, and they gave a few of them to us for sticking around the whole time and making the drive from Canada just for the event. If you want to see just how many, look at this video:
http://members.shaw.ca/teamrocketelite/EonTicket.zip

I had a great time. Even though the wasn't much to do there, I suggest staying and meeting all the various Pokémon trainers who come. If anybody here meets up with the drivers of Pikachu car number 6, tell them the guy in the Suicune shirt from the Tacoma stop says Hi.

Under that canopy was a table where 2 kids were playing cards (there was a playmat for the card playing) and another person was standing by with their GameBoy Advance watching.

That was most likely me any my younger brother playing. The person with the GBA was my older brother.

Lucky there are 2 in Virginia. I would only have expected 1, if any. But both areas are in Northern Virginia, nothing in the south. I didn't expect that. I would have thought one in the north and one in the south, perhaps Tysons and Richmond.

I went to the Lancaster PA, it was awsome, I got a Scizor and a Pichu figurine, The Ho-oh pin set(my friend got the Lugia one*wants both*lol)and of course the Eon Ticket. The tent was set up in the middle of the parking lot so we nearly got ran over by this lady who was beeping her horn at us XD. I wish it were possible to return to the Southern Island after Lati@s was caught. I was very happy about the whole thing but i didn't get to battle....lol
