I'm pleased to announce that Pokémon World Chanpionships will be in Downtown Seattle Washington on August 3rd and 4th 2002.

[Bounce]

Please bring your coffee mugs and an umbrella.
Actually if you see someone with an umbrella in Seattle thet are probably not from here.

Weather at that time of year is usually warm and sunny. But if your lucky you will see some of our famous rain.

Sights of interest are the Space Needle, Microsoft HQ, Boeing, WotC, and my doughnut shop. [Big Grin]

Hope to see you all here! [Smile]

I live in Salem Oregon, so I'd like to know, when the main professor type stuff will happen (if I go I probably won't be able to stay in seattle for 2 days).
Thanks in advance

I'll add to the usual, "where's the actual tournament" but I've also got one other curiosity. Where's the donut shop and is this different from the Maple Bar Shop?

Room 4C eh? hmm that must mean it's in a room of a building, does that happen to mean it is any smaller than the STS previous sites? hmm..

Gotta love Seattle. [Big Grin]

Everybody who comes will like it here.

Just to add on to the list DMTM posted - you have Pike Place Market, the whole entire Seattle Center area (Center House, Fun Forest, EMP, Science Center, etc), and even Wild Waves to the south if you feel like going to a water park (it has regular rides too [Wink] ).

It's been a while since I have been to the convention center - but I'm looking forward to going there again. It's nice there. And it is not far from Westlake and all the stores around there. The convention center is over I-5 too! [Smile]

Can't wait for August to come!

GenCon is the next weekend.

WotC is about 7 miles from there.

Room: An ara seperated by walls or partitions from other similar parts of the structure or buildings in which it is located.

Be assured it wil be big enough.
