Player A and Player B are best friends who happen to be professors that play at the same league. Before the trip to worlds, they decide to play team together in the professor events. After starting the first event(let's say it's drafting), Player A has great pulls and flys through it. However, player B has horrible pulls and does terrible. Player A gets in first and sadly, player B gets in last. During the second event (Neon constructed), Player B excels at this and flies through it. Player A, using a bad deck, doesn't place very well. Oddly enough, Player A played every person that Player B played in the first round, and vica versa. ( It could happen, not likely, but could) Now here's the predictament. To my knowledge, player A and player B would have the same record, and are playing the same people as the other. HOw would we find the winner between the two? Would they face each other(not fair because one's better than the other at either event), not be allowed to play on each other's team(It's not their fault that they tied and the team was pre-designed), or would they tie each other and get equal prizes?

Josh-you've obviously been spending too much time around me.
Anyway, this situation is so highl improbable I wouldn't even worry about it. Now, if this is below the t8cutoff, I wouldn't worry. It these people were 8 and 9 (unlikely at such an event), they might add a round.

Why do I feel like I came in the middle of an episode of Mission Impossible? I don't even have the foggiest what you are asking.
If you mean TMP, then both players would have the same record, so there is no issue there. If not, what 'team' are you referring to? What am I missing here? [ July 08, 2002, 02:46 AM: Message edited by: lance313 ]

Just scratch the team part, it doesn't have anything to do with team format.
